What were they looking for?
Live Presser here:
He’s talking about Inmarsat establishing the route being along the “southern corridor”.
Company that had the satellite data shows that MH370 took the southern route and probably did crash into the Indian Ocean.
New analysis from UK intel. Flew along So corridor and last position mid Indian Ocean west of perth.
Another presser tomorrow.
He says the “new data” shows the plane was in the southern Indian Ocean - which to me means “It crashed into the ocean” somewhere!
He basically said flight ended, with no hope of landing, in a remote location off of Perth.
It will take 20 non-stop hours of coverage for CNN to digest this.
They’re basically concluding that the plane crashed into the southern Indian Ocean - “far from any landing sites”.
Officially, that sounds like it has been “wrapped up” as far as a crash into the Indian Ocean” is concerned.
They said it was southwest of Perth, Australia.
They have nothing to offer publicly. Turd-world idiots.
I have thought from the beginning the Malaysians had some info about the pilot(s) and just didn’t want to give it up. So we got this circus instead.
Sounds like the same stuff they’ve been saying for days.
In other words, they will never be found, and nothing more can be done. This all sounds too fishy.
They’ve established the location - but not the cause, of course.
The sad thing is the families don’t want to know about the pilot or anything else; they want to know where their families are.
I hope these families finally get some kind of real news, though its going to devastate them. Not knowing anything has to be horrifying!
Is gen McInerny finally going to reveal pictures of the airplane and passengers in Pakistan?..It’s about time!
Still not buying it......MH370 Aircraft vanishes off radar completely and is found in the south indian ocean, thousands of miles the complete opposite direction of where it was going and coincidentally in the one place its hard to find an aircraft. Sorry but something still stinks about the whole thing and now Sat Data “shows” where it flew. Yeah right.
It seems the plane flew on until it ran out of fuel.
He was done and I was still waiting for some type of proof to be offered. Sounds to me they are looking to end this now. I doubt they have a plane located.
Yep, that’s what they’ve established from the satellite records.
Flares have been dropped in the south Indian Ocean, to mark objects spotted in the hunt for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
The markers were dropped by a Royal Australian Air Force P-3 Orion aircraft, which identified two objects 2500km south west of Perth on Monday.
The Australian Navy is hoping to pick up the objects within a few hours, Malaysia's transport minister said.
Well — that’s that.
I can’t wait to hear the General’s response.
When will he hold his presser.
He really said that folks......
95.1113 east 42.5453 south
Gay muzzie pilot must have been on his way to the South Pole.
Must have had another satellite identify and was able was to triangulate with the first one.
Maybe this happened, but maybe that occurred, and maybe it was terrorism, but maybe it was a suicide bomber, or maybe it was the center fuel tank, or maybe it isn’t even debris from MH370, or maybe ...
Fox News Alert!!!
They didn’t say it would never be found ... but only it’s location (as southwest of Perth). What this will mean is that they will now concentrate their resources all in this latest verified location.
As far as it “not being found” - that was ALREADY the case BEFORE they located the last location.
I did not hear the press conference...did they say if they had actually retrieved ANY debris related to the aircraft???
They didn’t describe exactly how they did it. I wouldn’t necessarily jump to that conclusion right now.
2+ weeks of torturous misinformation, rumors, conjecture. The flight is thousands of miles off course from original flight plan. Many will need to see proof of the incomprehensible to resolve reasonable doubt. I probably would too at this point.
Godspeed to the families of MH370 in the next leg of their horrific journey to find truth.
Right - I understand these seas are treacherous, where was this satellite data the day it happened. It magically appeared? Still sounds fishy.
I didn’t hear either CNN or the Malaysian government announce any coordinates. This was NOT from the news conference or CNN reporting.
Which means that the pilot could have put it on auto-pilot and bailed out.
they will never get the truth and neither will we. Trust your gut instinct,i trust mine and it says this was no ordinary incident/accident.
Nope. Based on new analysis of satellite data.
For the cubicle bound, what was offered today that was new and confirming to any extent?
All of their insurance policies have been canceled, but they can enroll in the Exchanges.
The article stated nothing was retrieved and markers were being dropped by planes so ships could return to the area to pick up the debris. Wouldn’t the debris shift? Would the markers follow them?
The Prime Minister alluded to some new data which points to the plane being out in such a remote area in the Indean Ocean that it had to have “ended” there.
nothing really, looks like they will wrap this up, at least they want to end it. No proof offered at all and nothing found at this point.
Thanks...they really need to show some of this satellite data. This whole thing has stunk from the get-go!
But they didn’t elaborate on the ‘new data’ other than their conclusions. Radar data? Wreckage found? New ‘ping’ extrapolation? What i heard on the radio was non-specific at all. They can’t do the latter with only one satellite.
It’s reported the insurance companies have already paid out $10 million to Malaysia Airlines before this announcement came.
More media games.
Of course it’s not an ordinary incident ... LOL ...
I don’t think a single person, in all this has ever said it was an ordinary incident ... :-) ...
Additional tracking data. That’s what I took away.
If it were my family, I would want to know what happened. Man or machine or weather?
Have not retrieved, but have spotted and marked with a smoke flare.
Since it is now night in the area, they will regroup in the morning.
