Ted Cruz: Republican Women are the ‘Strongest Force’ in Politics
Breitbart ^ | Bob Price

Posted on 03/24/2014 10:14:12 AM PDT by SoConPubbie

Thousands of Republican grassroots activists are gathering across Texas in Senate District (SD) and county conventions to continue the process that began in their local precincts on March 4th, of building the new 2014 Republican Party of Texas platform.  Delegates from the various precinct conventions will gather in the various conventions and put forward resolutions of issues ranging from border security, to pro-life issues, to immigration reform, education, transportation, the 2nd Amendment and more.  These issues will be voted on in each convention and those approved will move on to the State Convention which will be held in Fort Worth in June.

As these grassroots activists and leaders come together, Sen. Ted Cruz put together a video message to thank the very people responsible for his election just two short years ago. An email message, obtained by Breitbart Texas, from Sen. Cruz’ political team asks the convention leaders to play this video message of gratitude from the Senator to his activist constituents and supporters.

“You are the heart of the Republican Party,” Cruz began. “Your work makes a difference.  We’re seeing across this country, threats to our liberty - threats to the Constitution like never before. And yet, you’re the reason I’m optimistic.”

“All across Texas, we’re seeing the grassroots rise up,” he continued, “and I’m thankful for your passion.  I’m thankful for your passion for liberty. I’m thankful for your passion for the Constitution. I’m thankful for your passion for everyone to have a fair opportunity to achieve the American dream.”

Cruz acknowledged that he would not be in the United States Senate today were it not for the efforts of grassroots activists.

Since conservative Women are less likely to indulge in self-destructive behavior (substance abuse, promiscuity, evil companions, etc), they are more likely to look a heck of a lot better than “liberal” woman. Add to that a certain self-esteem factor, confidence, and attention to one’s appearance and you get a winning combination!

But REAL beauty comes from within, and that’s where we got it too!

:-)

The Cruz boy has got something very right here.

White Women are an important key to Republican victory. The Democrats have ALL the African-Americans, including of course African-American women. They have between 70 and 85% of thge Jewish Vote, 53% of the Catholic vote, 70% of the overall Latino vote, 100% of the illegal Latino vote, and this includes all of the women within these percentages.

Unfortunately, when speaking of ALL women voters, the Democrats (when they win) always enjoy a hefty plurality. When they don't win, it usually turns out that they lost the white women, albeit it always seems to be by a narrow margin.

Broad Brush: The Democrats are the "Mother" Party. The Republicans the "Father" party. Culturally speaking the "Father" must be the most undermined category in America. If someone can give American women a common-sense reason to vote against the Democrat Party, they are just liable to do so. However, in general, national campaigns are now more "emotion-based" than ever before. Not good.

” 100% of the illegal Latino vote,”

Some around here will think that you are kidding. They should ask slow-learner B1 Bob Dornan.

........slow-learner B1 Bob Dornan.

No matter what the topic of a political conversation, old B-1` Bob could manage to turn it to a non-stop dissertation on:

(1) The ballistics of the 30-06
(2) Performance of the BF-109
(3) WWII Trivia
(4) Montgomery vs. Rommel
etc. until one went quite mad.

We spent years trying to tell him about what illegal immigration was doing to California, only to be told how great "his" Mexicans were. "Wonderful cook," "Takes care of the kids as if they were her own," " Reliable Driver," "Beautiful Garden," ... then as he rambled on and on ...until HE was out of a job and finally observed Loretta Sanchez and the Birth of Post-Modern Election Fraud.

B-1 just missed Korea, but served as an AF pilot at the same level of government property damage and awkward yanking and banking as the Great McCain, who at least made it to war.

Since conservative Women are less likely to indulge in self-destructive behavior (substance abuse, promiscuity, evil companions, etc),

A dangerous cliché. Many highly successful women (and men!) are very politically "Liberal." However, they separate their political life and thoughts from their personal lives, which, like many very successful liberals, they base entirely upon "conservative principles," and adhere strictly to ...gasp ... the "Protestant Work Ethic."

At the same time, many a person who has the soundest of conservative political convictions can also "walk on the wild side" of personal affairs.

I have successfully (and not) run for local public office, and have gratefully received the votes of some of the wildest and craziest "conservative" SOBs in the whole town. Where politicians make their mistake, or their living, depending upon your POV, is in appealing to voters with whom they fundamentally disagree. IMNVHO, if you're running for office, state your damn case and let the votes fall where they may. If you don't eventually win, move.

“until HE was out of a job and finally observed Loretta Sanchez and the Birth of Post-Modern Election Fraud”

And once Dornan got bit in the rump by the latino election fraud machine he yelled for help from his Republican buddies. A decent investigation might have exposed the fraud and maybe the Republicans could have kept that seat.

But guess what.... the RNC was already planning its grovel-to-latinos strategy and his pals at the RNC were only willing to do a half-assed investigation. They would rather lose the seat than ‘alienate the latino vote’ by exposing a crook like Loretta Sanchez.

This is from wikipedia’s entry on B1:

Dornan’s district had always been considered the only Orange County district where a Democrat had a realistic chance of winning. However, it became even more Democratic after the 1990 Census, when it absorbed a considerably larger number of Latino voters than he had previously represented. After failing to win the GOP presidential nomination in 1996, Dornan ran for reelection to the House against Loretta Sanchez, a Latina and former Republican who had switched parties and run as a Democrat. Dornan lost by 979 votes.

Following the narrow defeat, Dornan alleged that Sanchez’s winning margin was provided by illegal voting from non-U.S. citizens. A thirteen-month House of Representatives investigation ensued, during which Sanchez was seated provisionally, pending the inquiry.[19] A task force found 748 votes that had been cast illegally—624 from non-citizens in addition to 124 that had already been thrown out by California officials. This was not enough to overturn Sanchez’ margin of victory and she was allowed to keep her seat.[20] However, in consultation with the INS, the House committee identified as many as 4,700 questionable registration affidavits.[21] The probe was dropped before these affidavits could be investigated.
