Louisville is my favorite city in the US. Lexington is too small. The other places are all fabulous, as you said. When we first came here we actually looked at a place in Perryville. They wanted $500k for it and we just couldn’t justify it. I believe it’s been turned into a bed and breakfast. They had a party for Ronald Reagan there once. It was some political thing, but I forget the details.
There is an awesome coffee shop in Danville, and our favorite one in the state is in Harrodsburg.
The real reason this type of crime’s not covered by the MSM is thuggy blacks prop up the white liberal elite establishment.
If sons and daughters of Tea Party members were beating up black people it would be on the front page of every newspaper in the country.
Democrats ran things in the Jim Crow south too - back then they didn’t report on crimes against black people.
Let me tell you, it’s not at all obvious that shooting into a mob of 50+ savages armed with edged weapons is the best tactical move under circumstances like that.
But it would have to be at least a .45. My wife’s .380 would be useless. But I get the feeling they are not like the “skinnies” in black hawk down and more like sharks. The fear of injury would stop them all.
Not that I would want to take the risk needed to find out, but life is risk, and if we are to win, we have to be willing to risk our comfort or even our lives.
But I’m comfortable living 60+ miles from these feral humans. And the beginning of knowledge is knowing that they are to civilized people what wolves are to dogs. They look cute, but looks can be deceiving.
I actually was confronted (briefly) by a mob like this...
BTW, I did too. They beat the snot out of a guy and me and a taxi driver were physically pulling them off and away from him. He was seriously messed up. But lots of people watched while only the taxi driver and I intervened. But there were not 50. More like 15 or 20. And they were Asian, not black.
This was in the international district in Seattle and I was wearing my bike spandex and helmet at the time. :-P
The FBI and Southern Poverty Law Center want these types of crime to happen because they hope we’ll do something like fight back... Sadly for them what we’re going to do is vote the little liberal elite shits out of office....
30 people coming at you as a black gang is the best reason for needing high capacity mags. Now if they cut the roving mona down to two or three members, then you could use a lower capacity mag. I’d prefer it because of less weight...but alas they have to solve the black roving gangs problem first. So we wait and I have to lug around all the extra ammo.
Those of us with something called ‘business’ in those areas have to be “reasoned and prudent”.
Being armed and vigilant is part of that.
The only drawback is: that Mexican restaurant in Harrodsburg. I think they use plain tomato soup on their enchiladas and tamales! No spice at all. However, we got some very good BBQ at a gas station in Perryville once. Enjoyed visiting the 1860’s battlefield there, despite the obnoxious federal cemetery. Poor mass grave of those stalwart Confederate soldiers, near the still-standing Bottom House. Beautiful country.
Heck, any gang, no matter what their melanin composition, are worthy of several new Winchester jacketed hollow point cartridges specially designed to feed in any .45 ACP model 1911 pistols. One per gangster should be all that’s necessary.
I have not been there yet. We don’t go to Harrodsburg much. It’s about an hour from our place. But we definitely like the coffee shop with the little bar in back.
