The church, which is at the heart of the 80 million-strong worldwide Anglican Communion, has always defined marriage as a contract between a man and a woman, and it refused to recognize Britains legalization of gay marriage, which comes into force at the end of the month. Church officials are furious that Cain is ignoring a ruling by the House of Bishops, which bans clergymen from performing same-sex weddings in their churches and orders gay vicars not to marry.
Disregarding the diktat, Cain, 50, and his fiancé, Stephen Foreshew, 40, officially registered their intention to marry at Camden Town Hall in London last week. They want to keep the location of their June wedding secret in case it attracts unwanted attention, but concede it wont be taking place in a church despite Cains 28 years in the clergy. Ive always loved the job, but Im finding it really quite hard to love the Church at the moment, he said, stroking one of his two handsome Bengal cats. I feel very angry and quite bitter about the way the church is behaving.

Can you imagine if this happened in the Catholic church????? It would be headline news in every city, state, country, and continent. Even suspected rumors similar to this are headline news when dealing with the Catholic church. Even when rumors are proven to be false, they aren’t redacted. I’m amazed that this is ignored by mainstream media? “The gates of Hades will never prevail” a promise Jesus made to our first Pope Peter and it will endure. Thank you God for your mercy. Give us your graces that we may become “One” as you commanded. In Jesus name we pray Amen.
The moral of this story is ... don’t ordain Cain, even if you’re Abel.
Get on your knees! Apparently, Mr. Cain had previously proclaimed this phrase, profusedly.
It isn’t just Mr. Cain. Look at what the the Archbishop of the Church, “the most senior clergyman in the Anglican Communion, Justin Welby”, said, “...the attempt to uphold traditional teachings [of Holy Scripture] was becoming problematic. There is a great fear that our decisions will lead us to the rejection of LGBT people, to irrelevance in a changing society, to behavior that many see akin to racism, he said”.
It is the primary duty of bishops and certainly the bishop overseeing all of his brother bishops to ensure that they “teach and exhort with wholesome Doctrine and to withstand and convince the gainsayers” as well as to, “with faithful diligence to banish and drive away from the Church all erroneous and strange doctrine contrary to God’s Word”. It certainly appears Archbp. Welby is not faithful to his consecration vows.
