These sanctions are only resulting in formation of Russia -China axis to counter the US growing influence in Europe. Simply draws them closer together. Every move Obam makes just creates another crisis to deal with.
“and no vital interests there”
The containment of Russia is a “vital interest” to the United States. We can deal with them strongly now or be isolationist and wake up to a Russian/Chinese world.
