Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder released a statement late Monday night announcing that despite widespread calls for the team to change its name, the name and logo would remain the same.
But in lieu of a name change, Snyder has created the “Washington Redskins Original Americans Foundation,” with hopes to “provide meaningful and measurable resources that provide genuine opportunities for tribal communities.”

Gambling has enriched the Indian reservations beyond anything imaginable. Driving down I 65 in alabama this ten story hotel and casino rises out of nowhere. Today the Indian reservations are raking in the dough.
Snyder is a businessman, and he knows the value of the “brand” the Redskins have globally. If he can deflect this situation for a fraction of that valuation, then that’s probably a good risk-mitigation plan, rather than take the chance that league steps in and forces him to do something worse.
Well, at least he isn’t changing the team name and logo. Yet. Still waitin’ for the FSU Seminoles to get changed in FL. Next will be the Vikings so no Norsemen are offended I guess. After that Green Bay may get if trouble with the homosexual(can we use that word anymore?) community. Yeah, it’s getting that stupid.
“Original Americans”, I don’t know whether to roll my eyes or weep on behalf of the Indians. Many would tell you that the term “Native American” thrust on them is as offensive as if Russia were to take us over and start calling us “Native Russians”.

You can only help those who will help themselves. Regrettably, a large part of the aboriginal American population has been burdened by their cultural constraints and have been dragged unwillingly into our European/American cultural system. You cannot force cultural change.
However, now our European/American culture is willingly changing from its roots and rejecting its Judeo-Christian heritage. Instead of being a good example for dysfunctional cultures we are crawling back into the primitive slime with them.

What the bigger message and purpose of these”exercises” is that they are preemptive strike experiments by the left to see if they dictate the rules and bend people to their will using social media...and they are getting very little resistance. His ‘offering’ will not quell the waters of political correctness. They will continue until they beat him into submission if need be. That is the way of the Left..................
