San Francisco may be held up on a global pedestal as a friendly, supportive place for gays and lesbians, but the city is at risk of abandoning the men and women who built that structure and who are now heading into old age, according to a report released Tuesday.

. Gay and lesbian adults often lack basic resources - like a spouse or biological family - that provide a foundation of support for straight people as they get older

Which is probably why God didn't get behind that whole gay program. Maybe morality does have its rewards.

You mean their random hook-ups from 20 years ago at the booth inside the adult video store aren’t taking care of them?

Too bad that Big Daddy (government) can’t/won’t take care of them. May I kindly suggest as they flee from the city that they look back.

It may sound cruel, but I just can’t find any sympathy for them in my heart.

It’s an alternative lifestyle. You alternate between hospital and nursing homes.

There is no subculture more youth-obsessed than the homosexuals. Of course the Left will turn this into more justification for homo marriage and adoption.

Why can’t they move in with their kids?

Knowing San Francisco, they’ll probably abandon them butt-naked in the middle of Market Street.

San Francisco was a normal town before the homos, hippies and freaks moved in and took over.

Aw, that’s a shame. No Social Security? No pension? No IRAs, 401Ks? Guess they’ll have to sell their “painted lady” homes for top dollar and move to a much less expensive city — JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER RETIREE.

Otherwise let their fellow promsicuous degenerates pay for it like any other ponzi scheme, and leave the rest of the world out of it. After all, redistribution is a casus belli for the battle cry, “keep your laws off me”. Thanks artichokegrower.

Not to worry. Few homosexuals make it old age anyway

Those numbers aren’t going to rise unless a whole of gays move there. They don’t live much longer than that.

Well good luck there people.

This is the center of the Me, Me, Me... Hey YOU! Look at ME! Groups of people that make up the LGBT now want you and I to take care of them or at least their younger and now more vibrant clones in the LGBT community in SF.

As I said; good luck there people, you burned a lot of bridges to get where you re now. Enjoy looking back on the charred remains.
