Automation will reduce the number of workers needed, and reduce the food choices.
It would be a good investment. No obomacare costs, no unions, no minimum wage crap, no pregnancy leaves or sick days, no vacation pay, no retirement package, no SS or medicaid payments, etc.
Today, a business would be crazy not to use the technology now available to them. The technology available now is awesome. The local WalMart has an automatic check out machine for people who don't want to bother with delays. Fast food would move twice as fast. Ticket sellers would be yesterdays news.
Because of the vote buying politicians, I can see a world where no one wants to hire a politically purchased human. It would be 100% understandable, and no honest person could blame them for it.
In the past I would have been against mass automation, but today the thieving politicians are leaving people with no other choice.
