A day after his stunning arrest on corruption charges, State Sen. Leland Yee withdrew from the Secretary of State's race.

His attorney, Paul DeMeester, made the announcement about the withdrawal during a brief Thursday press conference in front of the federal building.

Yee notified current Secretary of State Debra Bowen of the decision in a brief letter.

"I hereby withdraw my candidacy for election of Secretary of State, effective immediately," said Yee in the letter, which ends "With best regards." State Sen. Leland Yee leaves Federal Court in San Francisco, Calif., after posting $500,000 bail Wednesday March 26, 2014, following his arrest on federal State Sen. DeMeester declined to answer questions, including about whether Yee will resign from the State Senate. He said Yee is taking "taking it one issue at a time," indicating he may address the senate seat later in the day.

Known for navigating the state Capitol's backrooms and this city's complicated political landscape, state Yee now is accused of consorting with notorious felons, accepting money for his cash-strapped political campaigns in exchange for favors and promising undercover FBI agents he could deliver connections to international gun runners.

In a stunning development that almost certainly torpedoes Yee's quest for statewide office, the San Francisco Democrat wound up glum and disoriented in a federal courtroom Wednesday. The politician who introduced anti-gun-violence legislation is now charged with trafficking in firearms and public corruption in an FBI undercover operation that could land him in prison for years.

Democratic leaders in Sacramento, already stung by another recent federal corruption case, exhorted Yee to immediately step down.

Don’t worry, he’ll be back once he’s out of prison. Might have to move to Chicago, though.

Why is he not behind bars like anyone else here would be if we were busted for this crime?

TAKE YOUR SEATS, STUDENTS---TIME FOR YOUR LESSON IN DEMOCRAT POLITICS 101.

==============================================

HOW DEMOCRATS GET AND KEEP PUBLIC OFFICE--101: California Democrat, State Sen Leland Yee, discussed w/ an undercover FBI agent about supplying terroristic- style weapons worth $500,000 to $2.5 million, including shoulder-fired automatic weapons and missiles....in exchange for campaign contributions.

Sen Lee showed the FBI agent the entire process of how to get those weapons from a Muslim separatist group in the Philippines into the United States (according to the FBI affidavit).

Democrat Yee's alleged crimes also include:

<><> wire fraud,

<><> money laundering,

<><> corruption in office,

<><> bribery,

<><> alleged murder-for-hire plots targeting a political consultant who apparently crossed Yee,

<><>international weapons trafficking conspiracy in exchange for campaign contributions to Yee.

==================================================

LESSON REFERENCE: Sen Yee's Democratic Playbook---plotting w/ terrorists to advance his political ambitions---- is widely used in Democrat circles.

Former Pres Nill Clinton was grinning like a simpering fool at the annual meeting of the tax-exempt "Clinton Global Initiative Foundation" few months back.. Notwithstanding the bombshell news that (1) the Clintons had employed a Muslim Brotherhood activist....and, (2) the Clinton Foundations were outed by the NY Times for their shady dealings and runaway spending.

Gehad al Haddad (above), Muslim Brotherhood activist AND former Clinton employee.....is ready to carry out presidential orders. Gehad is currently sitting in a nice comfy Egyptian jail as we type. Gehad al Haddad was a Muslim Brotherhood spox--while simultaneously working at Hillary and Bill's tax-exempt foundation.

Gehad was arrested by the Egyptian military for inciting violence AT THE SAME TIME he was a Clinton employee. Gehad knows plenty about the way the M/B uses tax-exempts for money-laundering (to finance terror activities against America).

==============================================

THE CLINTON-MUSLIM TERRORISM CONNECTION --- The Muslim terrorist was working at the Clinton Foundation AND conducting terrorist activities at the same time. Gehad al Haddad's intimacy w/ the Clintons explains why they remade themselves into the hallowed "Clinton Family Foundation."

The Clintons doing their "Holy Family" act.

NOTE The Clintons' shady foundation financing is unveiled in a recent NYT expose of Clinton corruption, greed, entitlement, nepotism, cronyism. Actions Billy took as president now serve to fuel hefty contributions to the foundation.

The Clintons' shady tax-exempt modalities are unveiled in the recent NYT investigative story. Corruption, greed, entitlement, nepotism, cronyism. The Clintons didn't have a pot to *** in in Arkansas---never even had a home to call their own. Now they're multi-millionaires.......with hundreds of millions in donations from dubious sources financing Hillary's ambitions and Bill's ego-driven obsession for being in the limelight.

=====================================

There needs to be a thorough going-over of the three tax-exempt Clinton Foundations and their assorted money-grabbing derivations.

We need to know who pays/funds the Clinton's lifestyle/political ambitions---- especially b/c Hillary is running for prez. It is important to know to whom the Clinton's are truly indebted.

NY POST EXCERPT ----The Bill Clinton Foundation has spent more than $50 million on travel expenses — Bill Clinton’s foundation has spent more than $50 million on travel expenses since 2003, an analysis of the nonprofit’s tax forms reveal.....includes $4.2 million in 2011 for the William J. Clinton Foundation (to which Hillary and Chelsea are attached); $730,000 for the Clinton Global Health Initiative; and $7.2 million for the Clinton Health Action Initiative (CHAI).

I just got this from instapundit.com. From my reading, Lee had a RUSSIAN arms dealer he was going to put in touch with the undercover FBI guy posing as a baddie, not that the weapons were coming from mudslimes in the Philippines.

Not surprising that a California Democrat was found to be involved in corrupt activities.

What was surprising is that a) he withdrew from an elective contest, and b) he was actually subject to investigation and indictment in California.

I had presumed that merely being a Democrat was an automatic “get-out-of-jail-free” card, which had only to be flashed for immediate exoneration of all charges.

After all, don’t people KNOW who he is?

Interesting. He was running for Secretary of the State. I wonder what his ties were to George Soros.

This is just a plus on his Democrat Party resume. If he would have added kidnapping young girls for prostitution, his stock in the party would have gone up even higher.

A dim held to account?
He must have pissed off someone in power over him.
Kennedy left a woman to die in his car and got a long career in govt and was never held to account.

Secretary of State, no. Yee would be better employed chasing gun smuggling criminals, such as the federal Justice Department.

Good move there Leland.
It would be silly to be working the Secretary of State office out of the slammer, even for Mexifornia.

I wonder if this Yee Bozo is part of Soros' Secretary of State project, to get criminal commies in that key position in every state.
