I would agree with you on those things. In addition, I would add - carrying on a conversation with someone in the passenger seat or the back seat. It’s the same problem.
Every single day, I wind up behind someone so busy talking to the person sitting beside them, that they don’t notice the light has changed. We sit there for five to ten seconds, and they finally decide to check the road ahead, and notice everyone else is across the intersection already.
Cell phones? LOL...
We’ve got a much bigger problem with riders in the vehicle.
only for women. straight men keep eyes forward when talking to a passenger. women look at the person in the passenger seat whe they talk.
If you can’t drive while talking on the phone or talking with your passengers, than “talking” is not your problem.
Driving is !!!!
Eating hot pizza while driving is something I avoid.
I once had a delivery/box truck with a serious steering issue. In order to drive it in a straight line I literally had to constantly move the wheel from the 9 o’clock position to 3 o’clock, constantly. Just to go in a straight line.
Talking was never a problem, eating anything but pizza was never a problem, smoking and drinking coffee was never a problem, changing my clothes while driving this vehicle was a problem.
