The lawyer who led an investigation that determined Gov. Chris Christie was not involved in the bridge closure scandal told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly Thursday there is not a “shred of evidence” Christie knew anything.

Randy Mastro, a former federal prosecutor, released a report on his team’s investigation Thursday. The report relied on interviews with officials in the Christie administration, including the governor, and 250,000 documents.

Mastro said on “The Kelly File” his investigation was exhaustive and thorough, and in the end completely exonerated Christie.

“There is not a shred of evidence that Governor Christie knew anything about this lane realignment decision before it happened. Not a shred,” he said.

Thank goodness.

Libs are trying desperately to take out our #1 guy for 2016.

Look at all those Dem Hispanic votes he got in 2012.

Karl Rove will sleep good tonight.

Here’s another pinhead that doesn’t deserve my vote.

I always thought he was getting a raw deal on the bridge fiasco, but he could never get a primary vote from me.

If this is the best the Republican Party can do for 2016, stick a fork in them. They’re done!

The report relied on interviews with officials in the Christie administration, including the governor, and 250,000 documents.

Meanwhile, Darrell Issa and and Trey Gowdy have been waiting nearly a year for anything substantial to be turned over regarding the IRS -- which is a REAL scandal.

A government prosecutor investigating a governor producing no evidence of any wrongdoing. I would have never guessed...

Did he get the idea for investigating himself from Eric Holder?

“Not a shred of evidence” is codespeak for “he’s guiltier than hell.”

If Christie gets the 2016 nomination, I’ll be sitting it out.

The lefts may be hedging their bets. The Dems are sinking in the polls and Hillary may be a dead person literally(if the stories are true about a brain tumor) if not politically because of Obama care. A left of center pubbie like Christie may be a candidate they can “orbit around”!(smirking tongue in cheek)

“.........our #1 guy for 2016”???????????????????

Not in my opinion is he our #1 guy. There are a whole lot better candidates out there than “Butter Ball Bubba”.

So why don’t they DEFUND the IRS (like they defunded the enforcement if the light bulb ban) until they are given the records they have LEGALLY demanded? (Talk, talk, talk...no wonder they call him Dead End Darryl)

Well, to be honest, I think Cristie scares the bajeebers out of them. Hillary would have to run farther Left if he was an option. She wanted to run as a “Cristie” (moderate to her way of thinking) Leftist. Can’t do that if he’s in the mix.

I don’t support him at all. Any guy that can chum it up that easily with Obama, and do some of the other things he has done, isn’t my idea of a guy who is going to get this nation back on track. We have a mountain of issue to address. He wouldn’t address a mole hill of them.

CRUZ scares the leftists even more. The leftist calculus on Christie is that he was elected in a Dem state and has governed moderate to slightly left and still has improved finances and the budget there. So they could hold their noses and vote Christie for president in the same vein that Giuliani was voted in by leftists in NYC.

Don’t you think the high contrast between Cruz and just about any Democrat, causes them to think their guy looks a lot more moderate by comparison? They sell Cruz to be a crazy ass guy...

It’s the guy that looks just like theirs, that has them shaking in their boots. Right about now, I think many in the public are thinking we need to go a new direction. If Cristie is anything loosely like their guy, they’re in trouble IMO. Folks could easily say, “Well, they’re pretty much alike. I could go for Cristie.” Couldn’t do that with Cruz.

Now they may buy into Cruz because of a massive difference. They could reject Cruz too if he couldn’t deliver his message clearly and connect though.

Its a real scandal all right, but the Dems have no respect for congressional Republicans and could care less about turning any documents over. They can stonewall and delay all they want knowing there will NEVER BE ANY CONSEQUENCES. Issaa and Boehner are complete jokes. If I was a Democrat I wouldn’t give those fools the time of day.
