Full Title:Passing Comprehensive Immigration Reform is More Important Than Democrats' Success at the Polls in November, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Passing comprehensive immigration reform is more important than Democrats' success at the polls in November, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday.

A number of Republicans and other conservative voices have accused Pelosi and the Democrats of using the immigration reform issue as a political crutch, suggesting the Democrats would rather keep the issue alive for campaign purposes than actually pass a bill.

But Pelosi on Thursday rejected that notion outright, and she didn't mince words.

"I believe, and I say this with all the sincerity I have, that it is more important to pass comprehensive immigration reform — to me and to my caucus — than to win the election in November," Pelosi said at a Washington gathering of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

You guys only get HALF OF THE STORY.

What made 2006 so terrible for Republicans was President Bush and McCain pushing Amnesty so damn hard. It simply depressed and aready-depressed base.

So, for 2014, if the Dems want to really depress the Republican base - which is their ONLY HOPE to prevent a bloodbath, they have to get Amnesty through - THAT SIMPLE. And they are close, as there may be enough REPUBLICAN IDIOTS to help her along.

So, not only does the Republican Party end up joining the Soviet Communists in the Ash Heap of History, in a decade or so, if Amnesty passes, we also end up DESTROYING our chances to clean house this year.

She's right.

Just like LBJ's "Great Society" programs ensuring the black vote for Dems in perpetuity, giving citizenship (and voting rights) to millions of Hispanics in 2014 will ensure that the Dems will win in 2016, and forever after that.

If this passes, then the US that we grew up in, will forever be dead.
