Jason Conger for U.S. Senate
With the Primary Election right around the corner, Jason Conger has been picking up momentum with national conservative media outlets. On Tuesday Townhall.com described Jason Conger as the conservative anti-establishment candidate in the Oregon Senate race. The article pointed out that Jason clearly represents the traditional values of the GOP, unlike his opponent.
The Townhall.com article highlights Jason Congers incredible story and conservative values, and criticizes the DC establishment for picking pro-choice candidate Monica Wehby.
Congers success story is just as worthy of an endorsement. The Harvard Law graduate worked his way through law school after being abandoned by his mother and enduring periods of homelessness. More importantly, however, hes right on the issue of life.
Townhall.com also pointed out that a large portion of Monicas support comes from outside Oregon, which may imply a lack of support from conservatives in Oregon.
Meanwhile, 40 percent of Monica Wehbys itemized contributions have come from out-of-state, suggesting conservatives in her own state are not too enthralled with her policy stances.
The message is clear: Oregonians do not want the DC establishment candidate, Oregonians want the peoples candidate. Jason Conger is not the DC establishment candidate instead he has been endorsed by Oregon Republican leaders across the state and conservative grassroots organizations like Oregon Right to Life and Oregon Firearms Federation.
Gayle Atteberry, the executive director of Oregon Right to Life, made Oregons position clear in a special message for the GOP establishment: I have a simple request: Stay out of our state, and let us choose the best person to represent our values to be on the ballot this November.
Townhall.com argues that, Oregon needs someone who will fight for ALL Oregonians including those in the womb.

What is our chance against the Democrat/Communist? Oregon is a leftist state.
What an incredible story. Would like to see him in action.
Life’s blows can temper its greed and avarice.
When one fights starting from nothing and wins, no amount of temptation can overcome the passion of the struggle.
The DC Aristocracy must be taken down.
“.......conservative anti-establishment candidate in the Oregon Senate race.”........
Media’s attempt to black ball the guy?
Not as left as you might think. Only Portland is seriously left. He won a heavy Dem district as a pro-life candidate.
Pray America wakes up
This comes from a conservative website.
The terms “conservative anti-establishment” are welcome in conservative circles.
“What is our chance against the Democrat/Communist? Oregon is a leftist state.”
I think pretty good. Oregon in general isn’t averse to voting for Republicans. Gordon Smith held that seat just six years ago, and Merkley won literally by the skin of his teeth in the Obama wave (Obama had gobs of money and sent $1 million to every dem senate candidate in their attempt to get 60 seats).
Except for perhaps Udall in NM, I think the whole Obama wave of Senators can be swept right back out!!
