Cantor may be majority leader but he's no heavyweight. He can be removed!
“As I end my run, based upon my deep devotion to God, family and country I recognize and endorse Dave Brat as a true conservative who must defeat Mr. Cantor. I applaud him for his efforts, and I pledge to do all that I can to help him in his campaign. I ask you to do the same. I believe this is the best way forward to secure the blessings of liberty for generations to come.
In closing, my thoughts turn to Patrick Henry, our fellow Virginian and patriot who stated, Its when the people forget God that tyrants forge their chains. I pray that We the People beginning with my fellow Christians and Patriots would once again place our trust and hope in a sovereign God and NOT in government.
Yours in Christ for liberty and our Constitutional republic,
Commander Pete Greenwald, USN (retired)”
Good for you, Commander. God bless you!
Please vote Cantor out. Listening to this little whiner irritates the crap out of me.

is this enough to make a difference? cantor seems to have a walk.
That said, we need a few more Brats in Congress.
A Good Man placing the Nation first and giving another Good Man a chance. Mr. Greenwald, you Sir exemplify all that is Good about America! You are a Good Man Sir, if not a Great Man.
great example of how we win
kudos to cmdr Greenwald. the mark of a true conservative is always the placement of God, family and country above personal gain or the success one’s faction or party.
selfless forebearance—even choosing a temporary setback—often leads to a greater good.
If anyone can make the case why anybody in the current Republican "leadership" deserves re-election, I'll listen. But it will be an uphill climb.
A couple of election cycles ago I worked for a conservative independent against Alan Boyd. Towards the end when he was only polling 9% I thought he should have stepped aside and endorsed Steve Southerland (who did win.) But his ego was so tied up in winning the race as opposed to what was good for conservatism he couldn’t do it. He continued to attack Southerland to the end.
On another note, I’d prefer conservatives to run positively on their vision of how things should be done as opposed to attacking and attempting to destroy other conservatives in the same race.
I agree. I ignore all of the various and sundry ratings that are given to politicians. What I want to know...what did these pols do when the republicans were in charge of everything several years ago. They had the presidency, and both houses of congress and did nothing.
If the good people of Virginia’s 7th CD remove Cantor the Snake from office they will have performed a great service for us all.
He’s turning his back on decades of House Republicans blocking amnesty for good reasons.
