Poll: Sarah Palin tops list of women Americans want to run for president
The Washington Examiner ^ | March 27, 2014 | Paul Bedard

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the darling of the Tea Party movement, tops a new list of women other than Hillary Clinton who Americans want to run for president.

A series of Economist/YouGov polls, wrapped up in an article released this week, found overwhelming support for women candidates and a woman president, and has Palin on top of eight women most often mentioned by voters as their top choice to run.

Because Clinton is the runaway favorite potential woman candidate in a number of polls, the Economist/YouGov poll asked this question: “Other than Hillary Clinton, is their any other woman you would want to run for president either in 2016 or 2020?”(continued)

it is particularly telling that there is such plentiful ammunition against current government overreach which the Republican party refuses to use,,,,

That was the clincher for me.

As far as I'm concerned, the Republicans are the review board that finds no wrongdoing to the Democrat's "No Knock Raid."

Palin is a movement leader and the real deal, they can never let up on her, anyone who remembers the first three days of her on the national scene as we posted the attacks here at FR, can never forget them, the media was white hot with rage and venom.

It looks like Cruz will be in a similar situation as a Senator, he is authentically conservative, so the media will never let up on him.

This is just my opinion.

I think she was gearing up for a run in 2012 - she was making all the moves and then suddenly something changed and I could see it on her face in interviews. She went from energetic and optimistic to resignation, sort of depressed. I suspected that someone or a group said something to her to convince her not to run. It would have to be a threat of pretty severe consequence because for the most part she seems fairly fearless.

But think about it - her entire family was completely slandered - even the youngest child - her parents were audited - they moved someone in next door to spy on her, major news media asked their readers to help them try to find a hint of scandal in her governor emails...and on and on. I don’t know of anyone who has gone through such an uncalled for public lynching. if it had been me I’d have disappeared into Alaska never to be heard from again in the lower 48.

I hate them for what they did to her and I think the GOPe was almost as bad as the rats.

That simple post was posted and answered long ago,

The question is, why do you keep pinging me over and over, and using a ping list?

RE:”If Hillary had received 10% of the attacks and vitriol over the last six years that Gov. Palin had, she'd have retired to a sanatorium already.”

If you really believed that idiotic rule you seem to cite that those who are criticized the most (as you claim Palin is) indicate our best heroes then you would join the Obama suicide cult.

Not to mention, or maybe to, that you keep claiming Palin should be our candidate while claiming that she is that nations biggest victim.

PDS = Palin Derangement Syndrome

Apparently 2ndDivisionVet and ansel12 have branded me as one such person because I (a) find fault with her continual support of McCain, and (b) detest those supporters of hers which comprise a Cult of Personality.

Along with Scott Walker, Mike Lee, Trey Goudy you are so correct about
the HATE, AND VENOM, however our citizens have become completely
dumbed down, most of us on this site received more of an education in
high school than a college grad today! VERY SAD!!!

I’m looking forward to watching all the PDSers who voted for Romney tie themselves in knots over a possible Palin run.

Will it be even half as amusing as all the Palin fanboys/fangirls committing online seppuku after she announces, once again, she's not running? Because that was pretty funny back in October of 2011. "Yep, she's got 'em all fooled and guessing, she's going to make it official soon and be nominated by the GOP via universal acclaim!"

I think I will stick with Cruz and Paul, thanks.

Palin Derangement Syndrome. Taken from the BDS Bush Derangement Syndrome and for the same reasons.

FR has a number of people who have committed themselves (or more accurately ‘should be committed”) to trashing her at every available opportunity, thus helping ensure liberals get their ideas spread to a more right wing audience. You never see them bash her ideas...just ‘her’.
and so her message, whatever it is at the time, gets lost in flame wars instead of getting through to more people.

PDSers often call support for Palin/her ideas ‘cult behavior’ and generally they are not distingushable from any raving leftist on MSNBC as their criticisms, talking points ect are a direct copy of what you hear in leftist shows/publications/from leftist talking heads. The proof of all the above is contained in several hundred thousand posts on FR since her arrival on the national political stage. Most of those posts are from flame wars after PDSers invade and disrupt meaningful discussion.

Because that was pretty funny back in October of 2011.

Yeah, a weak field topped by Mutt Romney was downright hysterical. Yuk, yuk.

Or more accurately, yuck, yuck.

And to your other comment, Cruz only, please.

Edit for typo

Cruz should have had an exclaimation point, not a question mark...Cruz!

Just to clarify, Cruz seems to be the real deal. Paul is another RINO Mitch supporting/immigration pushing POS that any conservative would be insane or worse to support.

That, plus you actually admit that you are a troll, and enjoy it.

You admit that you post just to get under freeper’s skin about Palin.

The fact that we have people openly trolling and fighting an anti-Palin war here, is pretty strange.
