Politics and Obama are wearing me down. So, I'm thinking of one of my favorite subjects and looking for some comments on remembering "the first time".

A friend worked at Radio Doctors, the biggest record store in Milwaukee, He stopped by one day and gave me “Experienced,” saying everyone at the store just hated it. As a guitarist very much into Jeff Beck, I put it on my platter. I went into shock! “So you are allowed to do this?” I didn’t get to side 2 until the next day. Got front row center seat from Radio Doctors too!
Also have a personal story that I won’t post, but it involves Jimi’s Milwaukee girlfriend.

Well, there's one first time we all remember. But, there are many that slip away. Funny, I can't remember my first time eating pizza or voting, but I can remember my first time lifting off in a hang glider. Though I don't remember my first time hearing the album in the picture, I remember every note sitting on the floor just like the picture; in front of my component cluster head phones on listening to Dark Side of the Moon.
...and oh. do I remember my first day in the Army; standing in the fog at Ft. Ord freezing my tail off in nothing but a tee shirt wondering what the hell was about to become of my life. June 15, 1966 - went to the Oakland induction center for my classification physical and never left.
