Posted on 03/29/2014 10:52:44 AM PDT by xzins
A Chinese and an Australian ship have failed to identify remains from the missing Malaysia Airlines flight after their first day in a new search area.
The two ships retrieved objects from the Indian Ocean but none was confirmed to be from missing flight MH370, Australia's maritime authority said.
Chinese aircraft also flew over the area, north-east of the previous zone, and have spotted more objects.
The airliner disappeared on 8 March with 239 people on board.
Chinese patrol ship Haixun 01 and Australia's HMAS Success "reported they have retrieved a number of objects from the ocean but so far no objects confirmed to be related to MH370 have been recovered",
Eight aircraft also took part in the operation. One Chinese plane reported spotting spotted three orange, white and red objects floating in the sea.
Some of the objects seen in the area have been very small, and officials cautioned that they may be sea junk.
Amsa said that "at least one distinctive fishing object has been identified".
Conversation on this and other articles about the amount of junk that’s always floating around in the ocean
We TOLD them where to look!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet CNN is relieved! This will mean a few more weeks of coverage.
I agree. Finding pictures of stuff floating in the ocean shouldn’t be that hard
Aliens and tractor beams.
my tractor has headlights and headlights have beams
Everyday CNN reports on “Objects” recovered from the Indian Ocean..they should go to Santa Monica Pier that place has “objects” every single day..either they have no idea where this plane is or they are giving these families the runaround..last night I heard that guy Hussein say that there is always a slight hope the passengers are alive..why even say that, to torture the families some more? Unless he has actual proof they are alive he shouldn’t even be saying that
United States Navy Lieutenant Charles Carroll Taylor, flight 19, lost in 1945 ... welcome home, sailor ....
And tomorrow, they’ll spot some more trash. And it will be the most “credible” evidence yet. And they’ll move the search area to a new spot 500 miles from the last spot. And they’ll find nothing.
Is this our Hussein or some other tyrannical Hussein.
Have you noticed how husseins tend toward tyranny
Tractor plus beams=tractor beams=alien space technology !
My theory is that the closer you can get your search area to a populated land mass the more likely you’ll find debris you can announce as another “sighting of debris”.
So if I have an illegal drive my tractor at night
I can have an alien tractor beam
I just knew it was true! ;>)
be careful not to scare your kids with this stuff
I put in my two sense and decided because of the mass of it that it was debris from a tsunami. Which one?? Probably the really big one a few years back Indonesia??). I think as the ocean floor churned and released a whole bunch of cr**.
Could that be a red herring??
Good grief...two sense should be two cents....I’m old and it’s my nap time
I dont know how to spell his first name, sounds like the last name for Apu on The Simpsons
would it help if I told you I thought it was a pun?
And CNN actually shows the trash being picked up by a net and they have to “Examine” it..seriously, if they spot something and it needs to be examined its NOT from the plane..doesn’t take a genius to figure out if a piece of the wreckage has been spotted or not
One of the best parts of Close Encounters. I had been a UFO fanatic, so this part was awesome.
Frankly, I’m still of the opinion that it’s in Pakistan; the last verified contact with the plane was when it turned northwest, and the rest of these are either “possible” or even “faint possible” contacts or projections of its location on the base of such possible contacts.
The fact that the Malaysian government recently mentioned that there is a chance the passengers may still be alive makes me think this search is all a giant red herring.
I’m betting on Square 1. Can’t lose.
I am of the opinion that the powers that be don’t have a clue, and if they do, they’re just leading the public on a snipe hunt

Greetings earthlings! I am Zarpeth-9, high commander of the planet Granex-3, the third zark of the Klingon Empire. We have taken your ship and will return it in exchange for an Obamacare Platinum plan. So far we have not been able to register. Your subjects were delicious. We look forward to dining on the ones you call CNN.
Hank Whitmore was great on Greta last night. He basically said, since we have no real data to justify searching in the south Indian Ocean anyway, let’s just move the search area off the coast of Kuala Lumpur and we can search right on the beach. Save everybody a lot of aggravation.
I think they have a clue. But this is most definitely an epic snipe hunt.

They’re looking in the wrong place. The plane is buried in the end zone at Giants Stadium.
But you have more common sense than everyone in Malaysia combined.
Either they have more than a clue and they just don’t want us to know it...or, as you say, they have no clue and are saying something simply to say it.
I think they have a clue. But this is most definitely an epic snipe hunt
I just found a snipe in my back yard. Somebody call them and tell them to call off the search.
I suggest they head northwest and keep sailing until they run into a place that looks like Pakistan. Hunt around in the tribal areas. Look for an airport with a big hangar and armed guards around it. Or go look next to the Military Officers training school. That might prove successful again too. Bring a lunch as it might take a while.
What about the rubber duckies!?! Did they find any of the rubber duckies?!?
Nothing like watching a bobber jiggle, pop down and up then slowly move off while disappearing...then after setting the hook the line breaks or pole or reel seizes up. Oh stories of attempts to net follow if one gets that far. - love it.
Sorry I took the bait and went off topic.
Anyone here surprised? I think we've read so much PR "info," we don't believe anything any more. And we're right. They're feeding us manure.
Is it necessary to tell them not to sail up on dry ground? They’re not so bright....
Classic misdirection. It’s in Pakistan, or Iran by now, for who knows what purpose.
Just moving the thread along while the real posters have a bite of chicken. Kind of life a dinner party. Back to my peas.
What makes me wonder about that is that both Pak and Iran have airlines with jet airliners. Pakistan International Airlines has it’s own 777s. Iran Air doesn’t, but has plenty of airliners both Boeing and Airbus. If they wanted to use one to attack something, they always had one available.
Since a 777 costs 250-300 million, it’s always possible they needed to replace a broken jet.
OTOH, any fleet in the world with 777s can now use one of them for any nefarious purpose so long as they destroy it in the process.
i am with you. this thing landed but i dont think passengers are alive
Thomas G. McInerney was on FOX again Friday night, still saying the plane is in Pakistan.
