Democrat’s Fundraising Email on Climate Change Shows Why Congress Has Deplorable Approval Rating

Fundraising emails frequently offer an amusing glimpse into the thinking and strategy of a political party.

Remember earlier this month when Democrat senators took to the floor for an overnight session about “climate change”? The very concerned senators warned of grave consequences of human activity, painted pictures of global catastrophe, and chided critics and “deniers” of “settled science.” And then proposed exactly zero words of legislation in a chamber they control.

**SNIP**

Now comes a fundraising email from Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA):

We must rise to the challenge, but too many people are standing in our way.

"...and they deny that our great nation can lead the world to reverse its effects."

I looked it up yesterday and China's CO2 emissions per GDP are 3.5 times higher than ours. That means when we close up industry by raising electric rates here, that industry gets recreated in China with 3 times more emissions. Kaine is deeply steeped in socialism so the idea of Eiuro-American socialism based on energy rationing has some appeal, but his idea that global warming will be reversed is completely ludicrous. China is not going to change. 10 years ago they used 33% of the worlds coal, now it is 50%.

I’m surprised he didn’t mention the Koch Broz. as being behind the attempts to make his Fearless Leader, Hairy Reid, look foolish and moronic on theh issue of CAGW.

Hairy Reed actually doubled down. The session in question was in response to a billionaire who pledged to spend 100 million dollars on candidates who are hoax deniers in 2014.

Here is how Newsbusters reported it:

Billionaire and former fossil fuel investor Tom Steyer recently announced plans to use his organization, Next Generation Climate Action, to inject millions of dollars into the 2014 election. Steyer, No. 1,031 on Forbes magazine’s billionaire’s list, has previously funded Virginia Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s 2013 campaign and run questionable ads slamming the proposed Keystone pipeline.

And then he went to the Senate floor to denounce the eeeeeeeevil Koch Brothers who had recently announced they were going to spend 100 million dollars to fund a children's hospital in Harlem.

FoxNews.com: Reid returned to the Senate floor last week to say that when Republican senators rush to defend the Koch brothers, they are also defending the brothers’ “radical philosophy.” He challenged Republicans by asking, “Is even one of you willing to stand up and disavow the Koch brothers’ radical agenda?”

If you receive this fundraising letter during a blizzard, please regard this letter saying global warming and replace it with climate change. We still want to raise your taxes and loser your standard to below 3rd world countries.

Remember, to help wreck this non-great nation of ours, this November vote for candidates that'll continue gay rights, abortions and letting Putin and China conquer other nations.

Thank you for helping us wreck the USA. We are the American Marxist Party, formerly the Democrats.

Europe should just stop using Russian Natural Gas. That’d fix things and become a leading example for the other Socialists to emulate in their own freezing, short and dark daily lives.

Any approval rating of Congress (or Zerobama) that is above zero is far higher than it should be.

Democrat ambiguity on energy policy provides Republican challengers with a perfect wedge issue to exploit in 2014.

Increasing US energy production and removing barriers to energy imports/exports creates good paying jobs, and makes this nation less dependent on unfriendly foreign sources for our energy needs.

That should be an easy sell to the voters in November.

The public hates congress because it’s mostly comprised of people they didn’t get to vote for, but these same ‘congress haters’ have no problem re-electing their own scum bags time after time.
