CNN dismissed complaints that the network was not covering last week's shocking arrest of Democrat Leland Yee, the California state senator who was arrested for alleged arms trafficking and bribery, and falsely asserted that it does not give attention to state senators.
That standard did not apply to Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis, whom CNN covered relentlessly. This was long before she even considered a gubernatorial run after filibustering a bill to ban abortions after 20 weeks and make those conducted before then safer.
Viewers and readers on Friday complained that the network, just like Politico, was not reporting or discussing Yee's scandal online, and the official and verified @CNNWriters account tweeted to one critic that ignoring Yee's arrest was standard practice:

One would think that a story about an outspoken gun control advocate arrested for arms trafficking and whose partner in crime is named Shrimp Boy Chow would generate high ratings.

Obviously CNN doesn't want to cover it because at some point they would have to mention his political orientation and that runs the risk of the Sheeple who watch their pathetic little channel might actually get informed about something.
Can't have that.
That would compromise CNN's loyalty oath. CNN's in lockstep---uniformly marching w/ Scumacrats, saluting smartly to der leader.

CNN must be getting some flak over their nonstop coverage of the missing plane because they’re getting defensive. I just surfed over there, and a commentator was defending CNN’s “spectacle” coverage—i. e. the plane—as opposed to Fox’s partisan and sensationalist approach that “inflames” viewers.
Beyond allegations of Democrat Yee's alleged wire fraud, money laundering, corruption, and bribery, the affidavit contains tales of Yee's alleged murder-for-hire plots involving a political consultant who apparently crossed Yee, as well as large international weapons trafficking operations.
Democrat Yee apparently has an identity problem----he was an avid gun-grabber--and at the same time was allegedly involved in gun smuggling. His express purpose was financing his cash-strapped political ambitions, exchanging campaign contributions for shipments of automatic weapons and shoulder-fired missiles and artillery.
One trafficker, in an alleged meeting with Democrat Yee's political consultant Keith Jackson, and the FBI informant on March 11, 2014, allegedly discussed arms to be obtained from the Philippines. The affidavit claims the arms trafficker claimed personal relationships with Islamic rebels in the Philippines, though the weapons were supposedly to be obtained from sources inside the Philippine military.(Excerpt) Read more at breitbart.com ...
Democrat Lee was very well-versed in gun-running terroristic weaponry ---and may have done this before. The Democrat showed the FBI agent the entire process of how to get those weapons from a Muslim separatist group in the Philippines into the United States (according to the FBI affidavit).
The FBI criminal complaint stated that Democrat Yee sought campaign donations in return for connecting an Italian gangster from New Jersey with an international arms dealer. The gangster was actually an undercover federal agent, the complaint said.
The complaint said Democrat Yee talked tough about having shady contacts who could obtain automatic weapons. "Do I think we can make some money? I think we can make some money,” the state senator said, according to the complaint. “Do I think we can get the goods? I think we can get the goods."
The complaint says Democrat Yee described his approach to arms dealing as "agnostic." “People want to get whatever they want to get. Do I care? No, I don’t care. People need certain things,” Yee said, according to the complaint.
This is tantamount to aiding and abetting----b/c Democrat Yee knew for years illegal gun trafficking was going on but failed to report it to authorities.
Clearly, Scumacrat Yee's loyalties were not to endangered Americans or the national security of the USA.
Constantly peddling lies can get really awkward, and requires the continual reconciliation of contradictions. Fortunately, pandering to liberals is not a problem, since they are capable of sincerely entertaining two contradictory and mutually exclusive concepts at the same time.
