EPA agents raid ammunition company on alleged ‘environmental violations’

Environmental Protection Agency and FBI agents raided the ammunition company USA Brass over alleged “environmental violations” early Thursday morning.

NBC Montana was tipped off by witnesses that federal investigators were there until at least 4 a.m. on Thursday. Federal agents could be seen going through the company’s building and taking items to a truck parked outside. EPA lead criminal investigator Bert Marsden said that the agency was looking into alleged “environmental violations” by USA Brass.

“We are investigating alleged violations of environmental law,” Marsden said on Thursday. “An investigation takes as long as it takes, and I can’t provide any details as it relates to that.”

“I can make a statement that there is no immediate threat to the public or the community at this time,” said Marsden.

It’s unclear exactly what the environmental violations were, but USA Brass has come under fire from federal agencies before for lead exposure. USA Brass cleans and resells used ammunition casings, and NBC Montana reports that local health officials found elevated levels of lead in the blood of 22 current and former employees.

Last September, the company was fined more than $45,000 by the U.S. Labor Department for 10 serious violations. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) also found that USA Brass has overexposed workers to lead and failed to “provide basic safeguards to reduce lead exposure, including breathing protection and protective clothing,” reports NBC Montana. . .

Another way to limit gun owner 2nd A rights. Well I am stocked piled for a while. For both the 9 mm Ruger and my Taurus Ultra Lite revolver 38. And Taurus just moved to state Income Tax free Tennessee. :-), need to beef up the 12 gauge though. Since we have great grands, we have a gun safe. I’m the CCW permit holder.

Not sure why the EPA and FBI decided to get involved.

The IRS will be next.

Now that the US feral government is under the control of the totalitarian socialists, government agencies are all weapons now.

Not sure why the EPA and FBI decided to get involved.

Because OSHA can’t ban the use of lead in bullets and neither OSHA nor the EPA can come in with an armed attack.

Ok, now that I think about it they might be able to now; but they need some on the job training since they didn’t used to be able to.

Forgot about the Hope and Change.

Oh, I think it's pretty clear. They don't want the problem solved, they want to shut down the place period.

Are there any government departments left who don’t have their own “SWAT” team? This joint is getting worse than the old Third Reich. With more and more Federal employees being armed every day, the importance of the Second Amendment becomes more obvious.

The astonishing thing is that the FBI has in the last two weeks arrested several Democrats. Those agents are risking their careers and they know it. It’s similar to...say, the 1938 Berlin cops arrested a few Nazi party leaders.

It is a measure of how smug they feel about their agenda, that is all. Hitler has that bunch of homos out running around making people miserable--until he had them rounded up, too.

Maybe someone threatened to disclose how much of the so called 'gun violence' problem is actually a false flag operation like fast and furious. We're at the point where Conservatives would tell the Government to get stuffed, have it on tape, and would blow the story wide open on the web, so the Gummint needs to have insiders pull off their dirty work.

That big bite will likely be more than they can chew.

I think they did that in Connecticut already.

Being an “ammo mfg plant”, the ATF should have had jurisdiction and been first on the scene.

Any reason for them to suspend any of the FFL class licensees required to operate such a business in the U.S. would make them jump for joy at the justification of their existence.

Reminds me of the scene from Ghostbusters when the EPA guys says’ “If he does that again you can shoot him.”

Probably checking to see how they dispose of tainted waste water or other items into the environment. The FBI? Not sure but why not? It's a Fed party. Maybe the local Field Office Director reloads his own.

Not about environmental violations it’s about setting up a plan to shut down munitions plants thru the EPA with FBI muscle. Back dooring anti gun legislation

“This administration is corrupt and out to dissemble America.”

Should be: Dismantle...or disassemble.

Arguably, “dissemble”, ‘to mislead as to the true nature of’ is applicable to the Admins’ activities, but I don’t think it’s what you meant.

“...I can make a statement that there is no immediate threat to the public or the community at this time,” said Marsden...

You’re the threat, Marsden.
A visit from the EPA is always a threat to the public and the community. Heck, while snooping around, you might find 6 inches of standing water in an adjacent field for more than a week, and declare the whole area a protected wetland. That’s what you EPA jerkoffs do.

If you don’t vote Republican in the mid-terms and in 2016, you can expect lots more of this. Get it folks?

You are correct. I meant to spell disassemble. At this point, any negative connotation will work with this administration.

Lead exposure in the workplace is an OSHA issue. Not sure why the EPA and FBI decided to get involved.

Just letting every agency try on their jackboots.
