A local couple called 10News concerned after they received an envelope from the state's Obamacare website, Covered California. Inside was a letter discussing voter registration and a registration card pre-marked with an "x" in the box next to Democratic Party.

Sorry to hear that.
I remember 1961, when my folks and I sailed in, under the Golden Gate Bridge, after Army duty in Japan.

California looked damned good to me.

“Why would that upset them?”

Because in the Democrat culture it is the dead who are falsely registered and made to vote. I’m sure in California receiving something like this would be seen as a bad omen.

Furthermore, if they manage to get a new card and register Republican, it will come back with information and registration for the Democrats.

California is a hostile foreign communist country.

Right now dumb-o-crat volunteers are visiting cemeteries, stopping at grave sites, asking if they want to vote for their cabidates, say thanks for their votes, placing their names on a ballot and then having the ballot placed in the ballot box.

First, maybe the bureaucrats working there don’t realize that another party exists. Second, EVERYONE should register as a demoCreep in CA, as that gives us the opportunity to help select the most radical fascist in prefer to better differentiate the Repubs.

Keep voting Democrat until America is Detroit!

On Monday, Harry Reid will call them Koch-funded liars from the Senate Floor.

By Wednesday, he will deny ever having said it.

“Well if you can take the cold we’d be happy to have you in Michigan so we can finally finish off the days of democrats in Michigan.”

Well, if the RATs here in CA keep going as they have this year, CA may become once again conservative by default. Along with this criminal indictment of Leland Yee, a State Senator from SF, two other SoCal RAT senators have been booted out of the legislature by their own “leadership” as a result of indictment and/or conviction for felonies involving their offices. Ron Calderon (a Mexican) and Rod Wright ( a Holder’s Person). Isn’t this diversity $hit wonderful. We are just hoping that it gets to Fineswine and/or Pelousey. The RATs here are running around like a bunch of cats covering $hit!

Here is an article:

Turns out Obamacare is a vehicle for consolidating Dummycrat power.....w/ a multi-billion dollar slush fund.

The Untraceable $8 Billion ObamaCare PR Budget---truly govt fraud at its finest.

Egged on by Pelosi, no one in Congress told Americans about Section 4002---which mandates an $8B untraceable fund to "promote" Obamacare (apparently b/c Boobamba had so little confidence in his signature legislation).

In 2010 Taxpayers are extorted $500 million, in 2011, $750 million, 2012, $1 billion, 2013, $1.25 billion, 2014, $1.5 billion and in 2015 and on, $2 billion........

Lock-stepping Democrats voted to nationalize 1/6 of the US economy ----

===========================================

Q. Why all those O/Care delays and the recent enrolloment extension?

A. Because Sibelius is aiding and abetting Scumocrats to register enrollees as Democrats.....and helping Obama to wire-transfer tax dollars billions.

And remember, taxpayers....once in the hands of the Dummycrat criminal hordes, the tax billions are untraceable.

================================================

ACA SEC. 4002. PREVENTION AND PUBLIC HEALTH FUND.

(a) PURPOSE. It is the purpose of this section to establish a Prevention and Public Health Fund (referred to in this section as the ‘‘Fund’’), to be administered through the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Secretary, to provide for expanded and sustained national investment in prevention and public health programs to improve health and help restrain the rate of growth in private and public sector health care costs.

(b) FUNDING.—There are hereby authorized to be appropriated, and appropriated, to the Fund, out of any monies in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated—

(1) for fiscal year 2010, $500,000,000;
(2) for fiscal year 2011, $750,000,000;
(3) for fiscal year 2012, $1,000,000,000;
(4) for fiscal year 2013, $1,250,000,000;
(5) for fiscal year 2014, $1,500,000,000; and
(6) for fiscal year 2015, and each fiscal year thereafter, $2,000,000,000.

(c) USE OF FUND.—The Secretary shall transfer amounts in the Fund to accounts within the Department of Health and Human Services to increase funding, over the fiscal year 2008 level, for programs authorized by the Public Health Service Act, for prevention, wellness, and public health activities including prevention research and health screenings, such as the Community Transformation grant program, the Education and Outreach Campaign for Preventive Benefits, and immunization programs.

(d) TRANSFER AUTHORITY.—The Committee on Appropriations of the Senate and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives may provide for the transfer of funds in the Fund to eligible activities under this section, subject to subsection (c).

If you see how things are done here and think you did it better in California you wouldn’t have left.

I think that their main scam is mail-in ballots. They know that mid-term turnout is low so they take full advantage of the slackers. A mail in ballot should require a visit to a local office with a valid ID. Hardship cases considered.

The Mrs and I spent some time on the lake Michigan shore of the LP last summer and met quite a few of what I can only call “Michigan rednecks.”

Really nice people, all of them, and KiC would probably like ‘em. I notice cripplecreek didn’t mention the lake effect show. Funny stuff happens close to the lakeshore...

Isn’t it a shame? I was born and raised in that beautiful state (South Lake Tahoe). Went to college in Fresno and loved being so close the the Sierra Nevadas. Then, became a tax payer, saw the hatred Sacramento had for me and my business ideas and got the hell out of there. I do miss the geography but avoid visiting the state unless absolutely necessary.
