Just sounds like a continuation of an unwritten reality that has gone on for more than half a century. A car with a “New York” or “New Jersey” liscense plate is always going to be a hair more likely pulled over in “Louisiana” or “Arkansas,” and vice-versa. Especially when a raggedy car and a raggedy driver are added into the mix.

Now, with the state of “Colorado” being synonymous with dope and dopeheads, it opens up a new welcome target. Hello, reality.

As a "hippie" in the late 60's, I wuz stopped in Brunswick, Ga. for cruzing the Main Street in a "woodie" after the sidewalks were rolled up with four other technologists attending a "University Paralyzed Around Science" looking for an open grocery store - (we were camping on Jekyll Island.)

No real problem, except for being stopped for being outta state and having long hair and driving slow.

(Some were criticized for "Y'all shouldn't be movin' 'round without ID's)
