The EPA’s next regulatory frontier: Methane emissions

The progressives’ wealthy eco-contingent has been growing increasingly displeased with the Obama administration and their relatively mild efforts to temper global warming via executive action revealed in their Climate Action Plan announced last summer — namely, the administration’s refusal to more quickly squelch the fossil-fuel industry and more rapidly bring about those “necessarily skyrocketing” energy prices about which President Obama once spoke so dreamily.

[ Bingo. Since they are getting away with regulating carbon and carbon dioxide, they are going after the rest of their wish list. Oxygen might have been too obvious to regulate, btw. But I am sure it is on their list. Prediction: nitrogen is next. ]

Did you know that our atmosphere is currently polluted with over 70% of Nitrogen Gas, which is ALSO a greenhouse gas!!!!!

If you tried breathing pure Nitrogen gas it will KILL you!

Even underwater you are not safe as if you dive deep enough bubbles of it will poison your bloodstream and you will suffer from “Nitrogen Narcosis”....

We need to take drastic steps to control the Nitrogen Gas or we are all going to DIE DIE DIE horrible deaths...

[ They are determined the ‘rest of us’ will eat a low protein vegan diet. Whether we like it or not. We will simply not be able to afford meat or dairy. Only the elites will eat cheese or steak. ]

Protein and Intelligence...

Vegans always seem to have vacant empty looks on their faces, especially the “raw vegans”...

But these people have sickly children and don;t reproduce much...

They are trying to enforce the breeding of more drones through dietary controls...

If we could develop a pareto chart of the reasons companies fled the United States I’d wager the EPA would represent 75% of the total. They have formed a fourth branch of government making and enforcing their own laws written to the anti-business liberal agenda.

At one job I frequently dealt with the city, county, state and the federal EPA. Any of their inspectors could shut you down. Some of them literally swaggered around the plant. Finally, the company hired a full-time environmental engineer just to deal with them. Preparation for visits often consumed several people full time. It wasn’t that we were doing anything hazardous, it’s that the entire plant got spit polished every time. I wouldn’t be surprised if the plant spent $20,000 for each visit. The engineer probably got $115,000 plus bennies.

Sacajaweau:" Gotta cover up the oceans and volcanos..."

And cover Siberia where there is natural release of methane as the tundra thaws.
But this begs the real question : If we are so concerned about world gases, what is the rest of the world doing without EPA ?
Why should we alone be sanctioned ?
The real answer is : increased , imposed hidden taxes on corporations !
For the rest of us :
dimmed light bulbs
toilets that don't flush
electric cars that go half as far in cold weather, or burn up in garages
autos that wont hold up in a collision
ethanol in gasoline where crops go into gas tanks , rather than into annimal feed
Just more " Nanny- Statism "!

The Mongols beat the heck out of the mostly vegan Chinese once up on a time. With a much smaller military force too.

Vegans have smaller brains.

Apparently, they've already done the study and those are indeed the bags they used. But in the long run...I picture a catheter.

Our political geniuses are stuck on stupid.

Commenting on the “methane capture” system is playing their game.

They need to be taken head on and accused of their agenda,
and told we will NOT comply.

Read about the transition from hunting and gathering to farming and a mostly vegan diet.

Longevity went down, growth went down, and general health went down.

As a modern American try walking upright through a house in Colonial America lose some teeth on the transoms.

I read a book about Australia one time and the author, a Limey commented, that Ozites looked like Americans. This was largely due to a change in diet. Blam posted a thread about this years ago, so I took the lazy mans way out.

All of which is the desired outcome and ‘point’ of this little EPA exercise in power. Smaller frailer peasants with shorter lifespans and lower IQ’s. What’s not to love from an elitist population control point of view?

If the EPA starts going after methane emissions, then what.
Where I live, we have so much methane coming out of the ground that if you walk around a blacktop parking lot in the rain, you will see lots of bubbles coming up through the ground.

The company I used to work for sank a small well in the parking lot for about $10K and used the gas for heating.

As a natural gas utility, will we soon be issuing monetary fines(tax) for customers who have small leaks in their homes, or had their stove pilot go out?

I see it now - beef banned by Executive Order, followed by:

Cattle ranches hidden in the hills and woods
‘Cow running’
Illicit slaughterhouses
Veggie McDonalds
etc., etc., etc.

If you only need two corks as that’s the only two cows left in the U.S. not a big deal.
