The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is giving advice to grandparents on how they can get their grandkids to eat healthier, including instructions to give them hugs instead of treats, and read government bedtime stories.

... and after sharing a big bowl of tofu, Jack and The Giant lived happily ever after.
Discuss likes and dislikes of different foods and talk about what they eat at school or at home, the agency said. Involve grandkids in selecting and preparing foods for meals, and offer the same foods to everyone. Avoid making different dishes to please young, fussy eaters.
I like that: ‘Government bedside stories’. No Bible beside stories ever but how to be gay or lesbian very early.
and give the kids nightmares????
Grandma, can I have a piece of candy?
How ‘bout a hug instead?
Are you f.....g nuts!
Did Joe Stalin ever go so far as to demand something as ridiculous as this?
Will bedtime be the time grandparents talk to their grandkids about Obamacare?
ah ..I admit total ignorance in the area of Government..Bedtime Stories.
Is this trending....somewhere?
Snow White and the Seven IRS Agents, perhaps?
Dick and Jane..and their Dog ..NSA??
“Did Joe Stalin ever go so far as to demand something as ridiculous as this?”
NO!, But then he just didn’t do things right, just ask the left wing , they will tell you.
This just part of today's kinder, gentler communism. Of course the camps and executions will come later.
A few years ago I bought my grandsons “Hey, Mom There’s a Liberal Under My Bed”. Do you think that would be approved reading?
....and then the dragon ATE the prince and princess
and lived happily ever after...the end. now go to sleep.
Even as an adult, seasoned as I am, government bedtime stories give me nightmares and government hugs cause me to sweat profusely.
Actually I am sure they did do this times a thousand in the old Soviet Union
I can’t wait till these idiots leave on Marine One with that final goodbye wave. It’s going to be a hard fall back to reality for these fools.
Once upon a time there was a small government but it wanted to get big so it ate and ate and ate and soon it was very big. Then all the grand parents and all the parents and all the little boys and girls took away all its food and would chase it away from their doors when it came looking for food until it was a small government again. And they lived happily ever after.
government stories...gotta love ‘em.
So instead of baking cookies with my granddaughter, we should make a salad? I don’t think so.
Can’t these idiots just mind their own damn business???
No they can’t. Leftists really believe government should make all your decisions
No, I prefer to read them THE SECRET UNDER THE STAIRCASE by I.M Lerner and Catherine Osornio. It’s a mystery that kids love and teaches how great the United States is and how government SHOULD operate.
Discussion Questions for the book:

DISMANTLE the USDA. Confiscate the assets of every employee past and present.
Hansel and Gretel?
: ) (after re-acquainting myself with the Grimm tale)
Go away USDA, go far away. I already know how to raise a healthy child far better than you do. An omnipresent government is tyranny. Hillary once said it takes a village to raise a child. I’m the village as are others but Hillary and the government have NO place in it.
