A taxpayer-supported conference that trains teachers of public schools and universities how to "dismantle" the "white privilege" and "white supremacy" in American schools being held in Wisconsin refused to allow a reporter to attend its sessions, claiming that the conference was a "private function."
The White Privilege Conference, held from March 25 to 29 in Madison, Wisconsin, is a conference geared toward educating the state's teachers on how to destroy all that white power coursing through the school system.
In its explanation of its goals, the White Privilege Conference website says, "WPC is a conference that examines challenging concepts of privilege and oppression and offers solutions and team building strategies to work toward a more equitable world."
The Wisconsin Reporter's Adam Tobias tried to gain entry to report on the conference and see where local tax dollars were going. However, while trying to register for the event he met various levels of resistance, was put off from registering, then eventually barred at the door and denied access.
...As Tobias reported, the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, where the event was being held, was helping fund the conference with an $18,375 booking event assistance payment, money that comes from a fund drawn from local hotel room tax revenue.
Not only that, but several local school districts are paying thousands in registration fees, hotel stays, and transportation costs for teachers and administrators to attend this conference. Those are also tax dollars being spent.

White folks discovered cures for all the diseases, built the greatest cities in the world, made it to the moon, are some of the best doctors/lawyers, composed the best classical music...need I go on? Shouldn’t they be celebrated?
Doesn’t really matter. Reality has surpassed “Idiocracy”. It has become wholly impossible to write satire. No matter how ridiculous something sounds, there is a liberal somewhere working toward that goal.

This has to be one of the most amazing developments I’ve ever seen in my life time. They’ve even made up “terms”, or reference terms that sound like made up non-sense words: See for example, “Christono Mativity: The system of oppression which assumes Christianity as the norm,favors Christians, and denigrates and stigmatizes anyone that is not Christian. Equates Americanness with Christianity.”
See the vast number of books written on the topic by so-called, experts. This is a fricking INDUSTRY!
I am privileged to have a wonderful wife and two great children who happen to be white. I am privileged to have a career I enjoy, worked hard to achieve and even though I am in my sixties I still work at 6 days a week. Oh by the way I am white. I am also privileged to pay more in taxes than probably 99% of those attending this conference. Yes I am part of the 1%. My grandparents were privileged to immigrate from Ireland, build the railroads from Minneapolis to Seattle and live in a sod house on the South Dakota prairie. If that’s privilege I’ll take it as it beats the hell out of being a self described victim.

I’m really curious to know how this ‘white privilege’ works, as my white children had NONE of the the countless FREE aid/assistance/et al that all their immigrant friends received.
College for 4 years costing damn near nothing. All in the name of diversity. But hey, my white kids are the golden ones! Huh?!
The immigrant a&& kissing that goes on is truly a sight to behold.
