Krauthammer: Christie Gave Obama 'Lap Dance' After Sandy
Breitbart - Big Government ^ | 4/01/14 | Tony Lee

Posted on 04/01/2014 6:09:33 AM PDT by shuck and yall

Republican pundit Charles Krauthammer said that when Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie embraced President Barack Obama after Hurricane Sandy a week before the 2012 presidential election, he was essentially giving Obama a lap dance.

“I think many Republicans are extremely upset with what was described in the press as giving Obama a bear hug,” Krauthammer said on Sunday in a debate with Obama strategist David Plouffe, according to Politico. “I saw it slightly differently, I thought it was more of like a lap dance. Not a phrase I would use on television, since the image is too disturbing.”

I never thought that Christie was the establishment choice because of Sandy. It seems now the maybe looking at Jeb Bush.

Christie has no chance now and his internal polls likely show it. It’s good that he’s drawing the MSM’s attention. He’s a helpful RINO distractor.

Disturbing, but accurate imagery. Of course, if the GOP establishment elites hadn’t given us Bishop Willard Romney, Christie’s lap dance wouldn’t have saved Hussein.

The corruption factor is what makes Jeb look loveable (he has no identified issues). Christie? A guy attached to a New Jersey bridge, and will never sell in any southern state. If anything, Christie wants the Attorney General job, and has some pay-back agenda that he’s working on.

That’s gonna leave a mark! If Christie gave Obama a lap dance it could result in a felony charge of assault with a fat ass.

I think Christie has emotional development issues...obesity and idolizing Springsteen being indicators.

And those little white Keds he wore...good grief!

Christie did some good things when dealing with powerful public employee unions. However he is a fatally flawed character and will never be President.

“Christie...is a fatally flawed character and will never be President.”
********************************************************************

I certainly hope this self-absorbed creature NEVER becomes the Republican nominee for President. I still remember his keynote speech at the 2012 Republican national convention. He spent all his time touting the glories of Chris Christie and otherwise wanking instead of talking about the Party and its nominee.

Christie knew Obama was all talk and wouldn’t deliver on his promises to the citizens of New Jersey. He lap danced Obama purely to advance his own political fortunes, stabbing Romney in the back in the process. He’s dead to me. Period.

The only thing I ever liked about Christie was his willingness to fight back when attacked by the left in a very effective way.

But his stand on most issues is not nearly conservative enough for me, and his lap dance for Obama after Sandy was the final nail in the coffin.

Of course there were plenty of stories floating around that Christy didn't care for Romney to begin with.

Additionally, my theory was that Christy tentatively planned on making his move for the presidency in 2016 and didn't want to face a sitting republican president for the nomination.

I agree. Although I've known a fews Jersey boys from that era and all of them have had a different manifestation of this ‘emotional development issues.’ This issue combined with Christy's level of obesity must go all the way back to age five or much younger—nursing age.

That is too why embracing Obama like he did looked like baby Christy was hugging skinny Daddy Obama and empowered Obama in people's subconscious minds. The Keds! Give me a break!! I agree.

yep...

at this time, I’m thinking our best chance is with Rand Paul... and I don’t agree with his foreign policy, at least with what I’ve heard.

but he’d certainly be better than J Bush...

Scott Walker and of course Ted Cruz interest me... but I still think Rand is the best shot...

going to be a great race.

Smart Gun Technology: The new way to confiscate firearms from the law abiding
April 1, 2014 Coach Collins Leave a comment

by Doug Book, editor

According to the terms of a New Jersey law passed in 2002, smart gun technology “…will be required in all new handguns sold three years after the state attorney general determines a smart gun prototype is safe and commercially available.” Safe and commercially available. Notice that lawmakers have said nothing about effective, reliable or affordable. Add the fact that “weapons used by law enforcement officers would be exempt” and New Jersey’s politicos have revealed the extent of their contempt for the safety and the 2nd Amendment rights of the state’s gun owners. (1)

And when Garden State politicians eventually pass a law requiring that “smart” technology be included in rifles and shotguns they will have implemented a far more effective method of gun control than lifelong gun grabbers Diane Feinstein or Chuck Schumer could ever have imagined. For as every weapon sold (and no doubt, permitted) in the state will feature a microchip of some sort, law enforcement will have the ability to disarm any NJ resident by simply “turning off” the chip which makes the weapon function.

Writing for Newsmax, Lowell Ponte makes the sobering point: “If you will soon be permitted to own or carry only firearms with a computer chip that turns them on, understand that those weapons can potentially be rendered inoperative at a distance in a variety of ways, such as degaussing cannons, compact electromagnetic pulse generators and other electronics-neutralizing devices.” (2)

NJ Magazine Capacity Reduction….I wonder.
April 2, 2014 1 Comment

(Must don tin foil hat now)

Is the reduction of legal magazine capacity in NJ just a regular push for more gun control or a perfect set-up to bring down Chris Christie as possible candidate for the Presidency?
