All people are bigots, in that all people have prejudices. Those prejudices are not always structured around race.

I was giving my short answer.

All people are racist.
All people are sexist.
All people are ageist.
All people are “incomist”.

We all judge people we don’t know based on what we do know when we first see them. We then alter our opinion as we learn more about them through interaction with them, reading, what have you.

And it is VERY smart to do so. I was in sales in the 70’s and I consciously embraced all of those rules listed above and won sales contests doing so.

The human brain is hardwired to treat new things as being hostile. It's a survival instinct. So now I should apologize for being alive? According to some people, the answer would be “yes”.
