Black and Asian families are significantly healthier than white people, official figures suggest.
A study found that one in three people from white families had long-standing illnesses, compared to only one in five of those from non-white ethnic groups.
White people were almost twice as likely as black and Asian people to have long-term illnesses which limit their lifestyle, the research suggests.
The figures, released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS), show that 36 percent of people from white ethnic groups had long-standing illnesses, while among non-white groups the proportion was 21 percent. …

Where did they go? The United States, Australia, Canada, South Africa, etc.. There’s a reason the world’s first heart transplant was made in South Africa - in the post-war 40’s Britain’s best, brightest, most capable, and most daring headed off to greener pastures in the colonies and raised up a new generation of smart, strong, capable, and daring people.
Centuries of outmigration can tend to have a negative effect on the ancestral homeland. When your legal institutions are crafted such that any person with the talent, vision and drive to succeed can only ever hope to do so by migrating to a nation that favors the bold, then you’re going to be left with a much higher proportion of the dullards, the cripples, the thieves and the politicians... but I repeat myself.
Ago differences between populations may account for a lot of this. The indigenous population in the UK is much older than the immigrant populations, so one would expect them to have more chronic illness. South Asian populations in the UK have extremely high heart disease rates due to extremely high smoking rates and possibly genetic factors as well.
I’d advise everyone to read the comments section - dominated by white people. Many dispute the claim and others are having a laugh that white people are croaking because they work so hard to support unemployed blacks and Pakistanis/Indians (”Asians”).
You’re both right. Plus those younger immigrants are likely to be a self-selected healthier group than the countrymen they left behind.
The average age of a white person in the UK is probably significantly higher than the others. (Just like in this country, due to lower birth rates) Older people have more illnesses and medical issues. Stupid stats used by stupid people. Geeeez

Not very useful information with nothing by age group and I don’t think they even stated what all these “long term illnesses” are that white people supposedly suffer from more than other groups.
Exactly..... there are more old white people. Therefore, there are more health problems among whites.

Just look at their teeth. That’s a big indicator of poor nutrition and health.
this is about the UK specifically, not all of Europe. There are lots of countries in Europe, significantly different
