President Obama said yesterday:

The debate over repealing this law is over. The Affordable Care Act is here to stay. ... In the end, history is not kind to those who would deny Americans their basic economic security. Nobody remembers well those who stand in the way of America’s progress or our people. And that’s what the Affordable Care Act represents. As messy as it’s been sometimes, as contentious as it’s been sometimes, it is progress.

What Republican will stand up today and say something like this:

No, Mr. President. No way, Mr. President. We do not accept, we do not acquiesce in, this deplorable piece of legislation. The debate is not over. The debate will continue. It must continue. What is at stake is sound health care policy for America. But what is also at stake is reversing your attempt, Mr. President, to transform a free country committed to limited government into merely another nation burdened with the worst aspects of big-government nanny-statism.

Mr. President, you have been elected our 44th president. We of course accept that, and we understand that you will continue to fight for your legislation and threaten to veto attempts to repeal and replace it. But we do not accept that you get to decide that the debate is over. We do not accept that you acquire any moral authority by claiming to enlist "history" on your side. We do not accept that your attempt to expand welfare state at the expense of individual liberty and the rule of law is true "progress."

President Obama, you might wish the debate were over. You might think you can intimidate us into conceding the debate is over. But you are wrong. The Republican party

I wish he had used different words:

"If you like your ObamaCare, you can keep your ObamaCare."

The one thing that I'm a little concerned about, is that we might wind up with Obamacare AND some other alternative monstrosity as well. I could see that happening.

That's exactly what would happen with a national consumption tax to replace the income tax.

We'd wind up with a national consumption tax AND the income tax.

Nothing is permanent, idiot. When the country goes bankrupt, the citizens should take it out of your worthless hide, no matter how old you are at the time.

LBJ’s destructive “War on Poverty” has cost taxpayers TRILLIONS, and we still have the whining poor among us, with more collecting more unearned cash than ever.

Not just prohibition. All of the various slave acts were done away with as well as der Fuehrer’s nullification of DOM, immigration laws.

Any law can be nullified or repealed and these fascists all know it.

Read the Constitution. Or Google “State Health Care Compacts”. I believe that the Heritage Foundation and perhaps CATO have also had some pieces on this subject. If the States pass a law, signed by the governor, exempting them from some Federal law, and then Congress agrees, no Presidential input is required.

It should be challenged as unconstitionally formed bill because it was not read by those who debated the bill and that is harmful to the general welfare and basic freedom described in the constitution.
It should be thrown back into the courts at all levels people.
Anyone who has had it effect them negativaly should be suing.
Why are they not? Is it because they are sick, dying and old?
Thats America? The sick dying, and the children in the womb everyone who cannot fight back is dying in this country because we have our first black president ad he must be great so future generations can worship him until they too face a death panel.Rant over.

During yesterday's unjustified gloating, he also said:

And we didn’t make a hard sell. We didn’t have billions of dollars of commercials like some critics did.

An asinine statement and a bald-faced lie.

Obamacare is the "law of the land", as he and his minions are wont to remind us at every turn. And that makes Obamacare the ULTIMATE "hard sell" - sold at the point of a gun.

As for him and his cronies not having "billions of dollars of commercials" - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I hope the country can last. This community organizer seems to be great at disassembling countries. Of course, he IS an Alinskite.

Settle law that only HE can (illegally) change at will (and had a dozen times or more?)...but the law can’t be (legally) changed?
