Madonna: I was raped at knifepoint - held up at gunpoint, raped on a rooftop

Madonna has detailed how she was raped not long after she moved to New York City at the age of 19, in a revealing account of her life to date.

In an article for Harper's Bazaar magazine, the singer said she was forced on to the roof of a building at knifepoint and attacked. The first-person account, which accompanied a fashion shoot, spans Madonna's life from growing up in the US midwest and moving away from home, to her marriages and children.

"New York wasn't everything I thought it would be. It did not welcome me with open arms. The first year, I was held up at gunpoint. Raped on the roof of a building I was dragged up to with a knife in my back, and had my apartment broken into three times. I don't know why; I had nothing of value after they took my radio the first time," she wrote.

A lot of women … and MEN refuse to admit if they’ve been raped. The stigma.

Most famous women are pretty and most pretty girls I’ve met were sexually assaulted in some way. Most often as children and the crime is typically covered up by family

For some reason, detailing a troubled and abusive childhood is in vogue now with entertainers.

Lady Gaga talked all about she was bullied in school and how she was thrown in a garbage can when her classmates say she was actually a rather popular girl.

I read about this years ago, so I doubt it’s for publicity.

And then she jumped into bed with every single industry connected jewish fella she could find until some poor bastard agreed to make her a star, regardless of her lack of talent. Yadda yadda yadda.

If she was raped as a teen, that could explain many of her bizarre actions in future years. Apparently, some women who are raped, never get over it and act out by becoming sluttish. The psychology being that they feel worthless because they were raped, so they act like they are worthless, choosing to be a ‘piece of meat’, to be a sex object (note the belt she is wearing in your photo). If this is the case, I feel sorry for her and she definitely needs help. If it is to get attention, to boost a sagging career, her comments are pathetic.

I wonder if Lady Gaga or Mylie Cyrus will soon come out with statements that they, too have been raped, and are being raped at the same time they are tweeting that they are being raped as part of their next music videos.

"Because if she wore that stuff, she deserved it? Are you posting from Pakistan?"

No, Brazil, where 66% of all citizens, including women, said in a recent poll that if a women dresses like a slut she is partly responsible for being raped, if it happens.

Now, that wasn't my point but I was surprised by the candor of even the ladies of Brazil. But a 20-something gal like Madonna making a gazillion dollars by putting out the industry's first racy CD ("Like a Virgin") and doing drugs with cool and fast guys each night, is no doubt likely to find that one of them has violent tendencies and, after an hour of snorting coke with her in her apartment or at a party, decides to take liberties.

I won't believe for a minute that Madonna was innocently knitting and reading her Bible, with a glass of warm milk at her side, when the dude pulled out the knife and forced her to the roof. Context, my friend, context.
