President Obama contended that the government did not "make a hard sell" for Obamacare, despite his administration spending nearly $700 million to promote the law.
"We didn't make a hard sell," Obama said in the Rose Garden on Tuesday, praising the 7.1 million sign ups for the Affordable Care Act. "We didn't have billions of dollars of commercials like some critics did."
However, last July the Associated Press reported that Obamacare's marketing campaign would cost at least $684 million.
Taxpayer funding went to all 50 states in efforts to encourage people to enroll...

Your math is fuzzy, but your premise is dead on. My gf asked the other day why I rolled my eyes and groaned everytime I saw a commercial for OSHIT (Obama Supplemental Health Insurance Tax). Ever see a big name celebrity endorse the need to buy health care before this? Of course not, the free faucet of taxpayer money wasn’t on until the force of government was behind it.

A local couple called 10News concerned after they received an envelope from the state's Obamacare website, Covered California. Inside was a letter discussing voter registration and a registration card pre-marked with an "x" in the box next to Democratic Party.

In 2010 Taxpayers are extorted $500 million, in 2011, $750 million, 2012, $1 billion, 2013, $1.25 billion, 2014, $1.5 billion and in 2015 and on, $2 billion........
....the reasons for all those O/Care delays, fixits, exemptions, waivers, extensions, etc, are becoming crystal clear.
They had to get the $700 million somewhere. I suggest they got it from the house of representatives. That means Boner and company wrote the check.
