The ultra-nationalist Svoboda party has a history of dangerous anti-Semitism and let’s not even talk about the many Ukrainian guards who manned the concentration camps in WW 2. Now that Putin’s charges have focused attention on this matter, the spin begins. Bottom line is, the good people of Crimea voted overwhelmingly and decisively to rejoin the Russian Federation because they don’t want to live under the Ukrainian thug regime. So, certain leaders are now saying they’re only a little bit thuggish. That’s like being only a little bit pregnant.
