Her typically erudite style belies confusion about where she stands. Like her friend with whom she discussed Iran, she would not do now what she was willing to do then. In her final sentence she is correct. This disaster must be fought cunningly and deliberately. Cruz, however, may have the only legitimate solution. Chop it with an axe until it is dead.

That’s right. Obama is a catastrophe like no other, unless, of course, Sarah Palin became vice president. That would have been unthinkable for Peggy and much, much, worse than this catastrophe like no other.
