Obamacare Shows America Suffers From A President Dangerously Disconnected From Reality
Forbes ^ | April 4, 2014 | Peter Ferrara Contributor

The population of the U.S. is 314 million. On the day Obamacare was passed, the estimate of the uninsured was 60 million. So in this context, the supposed 7 million Americans signed up for insurance on the Obamacare Exchanges, even if that is a valid number, and all of those have actually started paying premiums, both of which are highly dubious, does not mean any significant success for Obamacare.

That is especially so since at least 6 million Americans have lost their health insurance due to Obamacare, so far, with more to come once the illegally and arbitrarily delayed employer mandate becomes effective, if it is ever allowed to do so. The estimate based on a new Rand Corporation study is that only 858,000 Americans signed up on the Obamacare Exchanges were previously uninsured. That is barely a dent of just over 1% in the original number of uninsured, from the historic Obamacare program that was supposed to provide “universal” coverage.

Yes, there are other sources of coverage under Obamacare. President Obama told us in his celebratory, hocus pocus, Obamacare address on April Fools’ Day that “more than 3 million young adults have gained insurance under this law by staying on their family’s plan.”

But that number is a publicly documented fabrication...

But hey, we can fix it by electing and reelecting liberal RINOS like Grahamnesty, Juan McCain and Mitch Turkeyneck. You know in your heart they are just dying to repeal ObamaCare.

BTW, I got another mailing from the conservative hating Turkey Neck. One seriously nasty piece of lying garbage made up to look “official”. Not one plus mentioned for McConnell.

If McConnell had demonstrated this sort of tenacity in the Senate against Harry Reid, we wouldn’t have ObamaCare.

I restate my belief for the umpteenth time, the GOPe *wanted* OC to pass so they could run against it. Yet now the cowardly, lying bastards are afraid to even do that. They hope we hate the Dems so much that we will vote for RINOs with promises of *nothing* in return.

The Republic is *dead*.

$1.5M Hotel Bill for President Obama’s One-Day Visit to Brussels

APR 4, 2014 • BY JERYL BIER

In late March, President Obama took a week-long trip through Europe which included a stop of less than 24 hours in Brussels, Belgium for meetings with the European Union and NATO. The president stayed at The Hotel, a twenty-seven story hotel in the center of the city. The estimated cost for the president’s stay, including about two weeks for an advance team, was $1,522,646.36.

Despite reports that the president travelled with an entourage of 900, the Justification and Approval documents only indicate a need for “283 Lodging Rooms.” However, sometimes more than one hotel is used during VIP trips. For instance, when the president travelled to South Africa for Nelson Mandela’s funeral, five different hotels were used.
Contracts for lodging have not yet been posted for the president’s other stops during his Europe trip, which included the Netherlands and Rome, Italy.

No he's not.
Obama knows exactly what he is doing.
He's trying to keep his Dems in congress from panicking and joining Republicans in disabling parts of Obamacare.

He is in full campaign mode, or 'lie' mode.

Too bad he can’t be declared incompetent and removed.

America certainly suffers from Obama, and Obama is dangerously disconnected from reality. I just wasn’t aware that we needed proof of either fact, any more than we need proof that the sun rises in the east.

In his unbridled arrogance, Obama says Obamacare is here to stay, and it will never be repealed. It will fail, because it is too screwed up, and too big for all of Obama’s horse’s asses and all of his brown shirts to push onto Americans.

American citizens apparently can’t do math any longer.

When you look at the actual numbers and the propaganda numbers, it’s horrific.

Like they said; supposedly 60 MILLION were uninsured and needed IMMEDIATE law passage to care for these folks(NOT the job of government anyway, but who cares, right?)

And this week, barry is celebrating a so-called 7 million signed up...

HOW ABOUT THE OTHER 53 MILLION PEOPLE, HMMMMMMM????

Or, was THAT a lie to begin with, HMMMMMM???

And WHY are there NO Republicans asking THESE QUESTIONS publicly????

I’m just astonished and feeling hopeless as I watch this go on and on and on.

ANY people with minimum brains could see it’s a total failure, fraud and should be buried in lime somewhere.

And the fact that 20% haven't paid their first premium & big percentage signed up for Government Medicare.

Liberal policies always have the opposite effect than advertised.

Obama’s reality is not our reality.

In Obama’s reality, the west in general, and America in particular, exist in a form of present day 19th Century colonialism, using economics along with military power to oppress the people of color all over the globe.

His solution is to reduce America’s consumption of world reasources, redistribute wealth within, wage a culture war against traditional Judaeo-Christian moral vlaues everywhere, and weaken America militarily so nations of “color”, i.e. China, Russia, Pakistan, and Iran, can assume their rightful positions of power in the world.

In short, his view of reality is anachronistic, racist, inaccurate, narcissistic, egocentric and dangerous. And that pretty much describes Obama himself. Not to mention the idiots who voted for him.

Excellent article, thanks. Toward the end, Ferrara writes:

...But Frank could never get his dialysis, and died while in that rehab. He was "covered," by Medicare, but because of Obamacare, and its cuts to Medicare to finance Obamacare, Frank was denied the actual straightforward health care that would save his life. In my interpretation, Frank Alfisi was murdered by Obamacare.

I've already experienced those cuts to Medicare to finance Obamacare. Went to my "provider" with a little UTI, and got a lecture about women all over the world getting these infections and not getting antibiotics for them. I had to have an all-out hissy fit to get A. a prescription, but he only gave me SIX pills, and b. a referral to a specialist, an actual MD who will take action to cure the condition.

Point is, those of us on medicare are now treated like people living in third-world countries. How DARE we ask for antibiotics from a system we've pain into all our lives when poor women in Timbuktu do without?

//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

An expression I have used before. That is why I refuse to engage in debate with liberals anymore, I just tell them they are nuts and go on. After all you would not waste time debating someone who tells you that the Sun really rises in the West. Either he is so stupid he does not know East from West or he is as crazy as a person can be.

Someone should write them a theme song entitled Unintended Consequences.
