John McCain Is the Least Popular Senator in the Country(PPP poll we can believe in)

Dem polls tells us about McCain popularity. Although this article doesn't tell us but Flake is also unpopular as well. Hopefully we will be able to take Flake out in 4 years and MCCain obviously isn't even going to try for reelection.

en. John McCain (R-AZ) garnered nearly 60 million votes in his 2008 presidential run against Barack Obama. In 2010, he won election to a fifth term in the Senate, receiving 58.7 percent of the Arizona vote. Now he’s the least popular senator in the country, at least with his own constituents, according to new Arizona poll results from left-leaning Public Policy Polling.

Just 30 percent of Arizonans approve of the job McCain is doing, while 54 percent disapprove, the poll found. McCain gets low approval marks from independents (25 percent) and Democrats (29 percent), but he fares only slightly better among the state’s Republicans (35 percent). Arizona’s state Republican Party formally censured McCain earlier this year for a “disastrous and harmful” record, including support for issues like immigration reform that are “associated with liberal Democrats.”

Sad that PPP won’t give honest poll results on Harry Reid. But that’s their nature.

Could it be that McCain fights harder for American enemies, foreign invaders, and illegal immigrants harder than he ever fights for American citizens???

McCain vowed not to run again the last time he was elected. Now he says he’s thinking about running again. I hope Palin runs for his seat. Apparently she has bought a house in Scottsdale. Flake is a real disappointment......hopefully a real Conservative will surface and our Senators will properly represent Arizona sometime in the future.

“Now he says he’s thinking about running again. “

Men in positions of power begin to identify with the position. It is no longer a job they hold. They embody the job. As Luis the 14th said, “I am the state.” They can’t see themselves not in the job. When somebody mounted a primary challenge on McCain, he spent 23 million dollars of “his” own money to win. Then he most likely spent another 10 in the regular campaign. So, it’s about the power and prestige. Men like him who lose office die shortly after. They’ve lost their identity.

Like a large number of elected officials their words are meaningless.

For us listening to them is the biggest waste of time and we would be more productive watching snail races.

PPP is actually the most accurate poll the last 2 cycles. Ignore at your peril.

Having said that, hey AZ ... can you PLEASE not re-elect McNitWit?

McCain only got 47.17% in 2008 against Romney and Huckabee.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arizona_Republican_primary,_2008

He only got 56.2% when he spent 20 million.

Maybe Wil Cardon will run again if he wins the SoS race.

I am frightened by someone running for Senator who has not cast one vote in any Legislature. How do we know Wil Cardon is actually Conservative?? He spent LOTS of money but had no track record to compare, in the last Primary.

He is going to have to serve as SoS for 2 years and learn from the best in the business, Kris Kobach.

I think it would be great to have Cardon and Flake attacking the other’s agenda in the Senate.

What is Andy Tobin’s record in the legislature?
I guess he has an okay record. But then he comes out with statements like this.
http://www.azcentral.com/news/election/azelections/azfactcheck/fact-story.php?id=498

Tobin was quoted saying there could be benefits to providing illegal immigrants with “some legal status,” such as alleviating the burden on law enforcement of deporting the more than 11 million people living illegally in the United States.

“We’re not going to be sending all these people home,” Tobin said.
