The Insurance-Salesman-In-Chief Makes His Numbers But Millions More Are Harmed

President Obama is bragging that the administration has surpassed its target of 7 million people enrolled in the ObamaCare exchanges, but he isn’t talking about the millions of people who are being harmed so the insurance-salesman-in-chief could make his numbers.

Millions of people have been driven into the ObamaCare exchanges and out of private coverage they liked. Most are facing higher premiums, higher co-payments, and sky-high deductibles. And Americans are footing the bill for the $2.6 trillion law that was supposed to get us to near-universal coverage and make health care more affordable but which will do neither.

We learned yesterday that even the three television networks couldn’t tolerate the president’s dance in the end zone, denying a request that they air a victory speech in prime time.

Since at least six million people lost their individual private plans – and the doctors and hospitals they liked – because of ObamaCare, the enrollment numbers are nothing to boast about.

~snip~

But, as we now know, as many as two-thirds of those buying coverage in the exchanges were driven out of their private plans because they didn’t comply with the mountain of ObamaCare mandates. Only about one-third of those enrolling in the exchanges were previously uninsured, based upon a yet-unpublished but reported study by the RAND Corporation.

An estimated 86% of those enrolled in the exchanges who previously had insurance have paid their premiums. But the story is different for the remainder of enrollees who had been uninsured. Only about half of them are expected to pay their premium and therefore will be officially enrolled.

Also FTA..... And what does this say about an administration bragging that more people now are on a welfare program, enrolled in the worst, most dysfunctional, most wasteful (and that’s saying something) health care program in the country.

This is some great hard-hitting article here, folks. Click it. Read it.

His business model for healthcare is exactly the Amway model of the 80’s.

For those of you who heard Neil Cavuto’s numbers on “real” new enrollees last night — Neil announced today that the WH is not happy with his numbers and is sending in a “surrogate” to his show tonight (Friday)to debate him at 8:00 Eastern - Fox Business News.

As an agent who sells this program, it is exactly the wrong solution for our medical sytem. The entire concept of an 'open enrollment' to somehow coerce Americans to pay for coverage when and how this program dictates was and is ineffective, insulting and expensive.

Now, to somehow make it work, they have to sell a pig in a poke to Americans who did not want this boondoggle and it has failed spectacularly. Enrolling millions on Medicaid and merely transferring the existing insureds to new and worse plans was entirely predictable.

Apparently, HHS contacted state governments, got info on people who had not signed up for healthcare, and started applications on healthcare.gov without their knowledge or permission. Even if the people had already decided to pay the fine instead.

Then, they used these people to inflate the Obamacare numbers.

Hope Cavuto exposes them - think I might DVR that since I have guests here for a granddaughter’s birthday tonight.

The title is wrong. Obamacare was supposed to insure 100% of the uninsured. 1 million (and that’s being nice) was previously uninsured out of 30 million uninsured. That is not hitting his numbers. That is reason enough to dump the whole thing.

Cavuto has a show at 6:00 eastern also (in 10 minutes). Maybe, like last night, it will be the same show as is on his later show.

Thanks. I’m Pacific time so the translation to eastern got jumbled. But — last night I watched both shows and I thought they were the same. wrong?

Anyway I just watched the “surrogate” — and I’m more confused on the issue than ever. That’s the way they want it!

Can I ask a stupid question?

Before Obamacare was in effect, we had estimated numbers of uninsured of 40 to 50 million people.

Obama is thrilled that 7 million signed up.

Even if for sake of argument, every single one of these was uninsured before, don’t we still have tens of millions who failed to sign up?????

Don’t we still have a huge number of uninsured???

Is this news really worth spiking the football????

What am I missing????

Hey, good questions — and I’d ask the same if I wasn’t so confused right now watching the MIT/WH guy debating Cavuto and all I can figure is everyone is working off of different numbers to begin with, 30?, 40? 50? million — who knows. then throw in a few outright lies, and 30 or so changes in the rules and it is a bunch of gobbeldy-gook.

If you get the answers let me know.

Oh, btw — it is no longer 7.1 million — it is 10 million. Don’t know where they found the other 3M but that is what the WH/MIT guy said.

How do we know he “made” the numbers? I want proof, everything out of his mouth is a lie...you’re gonna’ start believing him now? Until I have proof, it’s just another lie.

This needs to go viral.

EXHIBIT ONE We cannot overlook the distinct possibility that forcing the "magic number" caused the vote-crazed, desperate Obamatons to phony up the O/Care enrollment list:

-----falsifying official govt documents is a felony,

-----forgery could be involved,

----falsified documents sent over the internet means criminal wire fraud could be in the mix.

============================================================

EXHIBIT TWO Govt factotums "pencil-whipping" official documents should be considered:

-----1. To approve a document without actually knowing or reviewing what it is that is being approved.

----- 2. To complete a form, record, or document without having performed the implied work or without supporting data or evidence.

USAGE "Knowing the auditors were coming in just a week, we chose to pencil whip the quarterly inventory forms for the last year." (This term is popular among military personnel and auditors.)

=================================================

EXHIBIT THREE The penalty for falsifying government documents is outlined in the Crimes Act of 1958.

Many different types of acts can be considered as falsifying a document, including:
◾Altering or misrepresenting factual information such as prices or monetary amounts
◾Stating false information when requested to provide truthful statements
◾Forging a signature
◾Using official letterheads without authorization
◾Concealing assets or property WRT obtaining federal/state grants, and/or subsidies
◾Knowingly using or distributing a fake document

A person can only be held criminally liable if they are deliberately acting with the intention of deceiving or defrauding another party. /

Falsifying documents is a very serious offense and is generally classified as a felony. This means that a person charged with falsifying documents may be subject to the following legal penalties:
◾Having to pay a monetary fine
◾Incarceration in a prison facility

Depending on the gravity of the offense, as well as individual state laws, falsifying documents can result in a prison sentence of 5-10 years. Also, if government documents or authorities were involved, the legal penalties may be more severe. ..... legal penalties may increase with repeat offenses.
