1776 "NEW HAVEN {Connecticut} October 16 Advices from Long-Island. The following is a copy of what was sent through the county of Suffolk, by order of Governor Tryon.
The Governor of the province recommends to the inhabitants of Suffolk county the following measures, as the best means for those who have been active in the rebellion to preserve their lives and save their estates, viz. That all offensive arms, indiscriminately, be forthwith collected, in each respective manor, township and precinct, as soon as possible, to deliver up at head quarters to the Commander in Chief of the King's troops." p224

WOW!!!! When I first glanced at
THAT headline my cigarette fell out of my fingers into the receiving tray of one of my reloading presses. In lieu of what's been happening up in CT I thought Malloy was the governor that
FURTHER lost his cookies for real. Yea, our oldest daughter has one of her lap tops set up on the reloading bench and here I am reloading 22.250's while scoping the latest on FR. Thank you for posting it neighbor. (Even though I thought I was having a heart attack LOL)

Back then the citizens of Connecticut would be telling Govenor Tryon to Kiss their ass, today, maybe they’ll tell Govenor Malloy and the morons in Hartford that we had enough. Maybe, the Connecticut gun owners in November will remove the anti gun Marxisrd and turn Connecticut back to a lighter blue state.
