Millions will remember Maureen Lipman’s TV character Beattie praising her grandson when he ‘got an ’ology’.

But the TV advert from 1988 has been blamed by Ukip leader Nigel Farage for encouraging a generation to study for what he considers to be worthless degrees.

The rabid anti-EU guy wants to be like economic dysfunctional Portugal with its ‘more enlightened’ approach, so he can sell all drugs, including heroin, to his British neighbors.

Talk about an own goal... you can't make this stuff up - LoL!

NOTE TO THE PEOPLE OF ENGLAND: Keep weakening yourselves morally, politically, religiously, sexually, and economically. As you dwindle to a powerless mob Islam will hunt you down and kill you one at a time to finish you off.

Think about it. The devil walks the earth, especially in once-great England.

Farage stated his comments about drug policy were personal views and differed greatly from his party.

So who jumped the shark you or UKIP?

A clearer picture of (UKIP) Nigel Farage, Who are you?, an hour long UK Channel4 video documentary reveals more about UKIP/Farage in an attempt to destroy them. Some feature points:

“we need to do more to keep drugs out of our prisons.”

This statement floors me. It’s a serious problem. Prison is the most regulated environment known to man and they STILL can’t control drugs?! Our drug warriors still think they can control drugs in a free society? In Saudi Arabia, they behead drug dealers. And every year, they still have more to behead. The strongest public punishment, and they *still* can’t stop the flow of drugs.

How about we legalize it, tax it, regulate the harsh stuff to addicts only, and put the drug dealers out of business?

Oh, and stop stripping innocent Americans of their civil liberties as well?

Importing Islam into prisons is the number one offensive and dangerous drug currently allowed.

It not only mentally disables (current primary excuse used to dismiss jihad) but like a virus spreads through prison condoned dawa which gives converts (reverts) certain protections

Actually, for Britain, he has a point. British prisons are filled to the brim with Pakistanis, to the point where they don’t even have room for burglars and other criminals, so are letting them go or never sending them there in the first place. So the drug laws are useless in any event.

And like the US, which is right now quietly having an explosion of heroin use, caused almost entirely by having too many prescription opiate drugs, Britain is having the same problem. Importantly, a large percent of the new heroin users are not poor people, but middle class and upper middle class.

So if they don’t put some order into heroin use, they are going to have a whopping big number of AIDS and Hepatitis C patients.

And this is not something they can just mull around for a few decades like they have been doing. It has to be dealt with quickly.

I am just watching this.

From the smarmy (what else?) dubbed narrative (with reference to the older age group that supports UKIP):

"The ideas that Farage champions - like freedom and self-reliance - are old-fashioned values. UKIP represents the noble ideas of another era." (emphasis on "old-fashioned" with a condescending downturn on "another era".) @29:30

As if it were centuries ago and not mere decades. Well, DUH! That generation still remembers the fight against the previous European fascism - unlike the young hipsters who think it will all turn out well because multi-culturalism is such a great thing...
