‘Opie And Anthony’: ‘I Don’t Know Why We’re Not Having A Revolution’ Over Obamacare

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — The hosts of SiriusXM Radio’s “Opie and Anthony” show slammed Obamacare for losing their health insurance due to President Barack Obama’s signature health care law.

Gregg “Opie” Hughes, who has a wife and two kids, went into detail Thursday about receiving an insurance cancellation in the mail for him and his family. “I’m a little annoyed today because I got my insurance cancellations yesterday,” Hughes said. “And I got kids and the wife that needed all that stuff.”

Hughes went on to say that he had “no issue” with his cancelled health insurance and doesn’t “even know where to begin” with the new paperwork. “I have no (expletive) idea how to even attempt this,” Hughes steamed. “I don’t even know where to begin.”

Anthony is a Conservative, Opie is more liberal.

For whatever reason, the American people are not revolting. Sadly, the communist in our White House is revolting enough for all of us.

Lil Jimmy is more right wing on financial issues but is certainly more liberal on social issues.

As a show, I think it's safe to say they hate Obamacare

Opie in 2004 was on the Obama Express. After the speech at the DNC he was saying over and over again that he’s the guy who’ll get it in 2008 and he supported Obama too.

Anthony is a conservative in that he’s mostly libertarian. Of course he grew up knocking tin as an AC installer so he has a decade of blue collar work in his blood before he got on the radio.

The only truism is Jimmy HAAAAAAAAAAAAAATES the left-wing hypocrisy when it comes to freedom.

He hates right-wing politics in terms of social conservatism but he knows from experience that the left-wingers will hound you far more than right-wingers when it comes to nanny state stuff.

There have been revolutions or serious civil disturbances in Egypt, Algeria, Lybia, Ukraine, Iran, Syria Venezuela, Argentina and Greece just in Obama's time as president. There are also serious protests and secession movements starting in Italy, Scotland, Spain, France, Turkey, Thailand, and Bolivia.

When civil wars happen, one day things were bad but people tolerated it, and the next day, for some reason, a switch turned on, and people revolted. We just haven't hit that point yet. But I do think we will.

I will never, ever forget hearing Anthony say, the morning after election day 2008: 1776-2008 RIP America.

funny and ironic; Opie is a liberal and his counterpart Anthony is conservative (these guys are shock jocks)...i listened to the interview on Truthrevolt the other day and 5 minutes into Opie’s rant Anthony sarcastically shot back saying “you’re just one of those Republican liars”....

There are a lot of things being done today that, a generation or two ago, would have send the electorate into full boil mode if they had even been *suggested*.

The reason the body politic is so passive is the media has convinced the frog that the hot water is good for him and Obama certainly won’t let it come to a boil.

The reason the body politic is so passive is the media has convinced the frog that the hot water is good for him

There is another HUGE reason, and it really has to do with the whole of American society since the '60s. The "First Black President" cannot be impeached, cannot be shown to be a liar or a fascist or a communist, even if all of that would seem to be the case. His election was supposed to be the crowning achievement of the "Civil Rights Movement," and there are so many people invested in that that they simply WILL NOT believe the wholesale destruction he is causing, even when it is right in their faces.

“‘I Don’t Know Why We’re Not Having A Revolution’ Over Obamacare”

The revolution is happening in people’s minds and hearts as we speak because of the massive amount of bounced checks the collectivists have issued over the last several decades.

Rumor has it that there were medical doctors and medical care available, even in the 1700’s, and yet somehow that wasn’t written into the Constitution at all.........
