The McAuliffe Way: Not What The Framers Intended
Virginia Free Citizen ^ | April 4, 2014 | Frank Salvato

Posted on 04/06/2014 10:04:01 AM PDT by RightSideNews

Mr. McAuliffe stated, point blank,he would not engage in partisan skullduggery to affect the expansion of Medicaid under Obamacare at the expense of the Virginia State budget, yet that is exactly what he is doing. Less than six months after taking office, Mr. McAuliffe is not only doing “a 180” on his campaign promise not to hold the budget hostage to his whim, but doing so at the expense of the State budget and the well-being of State government. So what does it mean when we say Gov. McAuliffe and his Progressive and Democrat stooges will hold the budget hostage in an effort to coerce the minority party into ideological acquiescence? It means that the Democrats – the Democrats – will be insisting that State government be shut down until the fiscally responsible minority party caves-in to what can only be viewed as political extortion. It means that Virginians across the State will be immediately and directly affected:1)Public schools teachers and staff will be suffocated of pay, 2)Law enforcement officers, firefighters and EMS personnel will be deprived of funding for critical training that keeps them sharp in the face of the impossible, some being deprived of paychecks. 3) Hospitals and free clinics will curtail services for lack of funds, 4)DMV services will be greatly diminished, 5)Veterans will be disenfranchised as benefits, including medical treatments are delayed and in some cases even cancelled, 6)Colleges and universities will see essential services reduced, 7)Road maintenance will be suspended, 8)New business licensing will be halted, thus affecting the creation of badly needed new jobs, especially in poverty-stricken areas: 9)Family support and community-based mental health care will be abridged, 10)Availability of public transportation will be reduced, and more. This is what Progressive partisanship looks like. This is what Democrat narcissism produces...

Smells like 2012 all over again. . .massive voter fraud...

And, again, the GOP said nary a word about. They would rather lose to the Democrat then have a real conservative win.

The only thing that is massive is your knee jerk ignorance and blather. Fairfax county no longer uses electronic voting machines. I know because I vote in Fairfax county and the county now uses marked ballots (fill in the circle)and feed it into a machine. Fairfax county has NEVER reported within 30 minutes of the polls closing. Fairfax has changed demographically in the last 20 years - lots of people moving from the Northeast and foreign born citizens, primarily Indian who now vote solidly democrat.

While voter fraud exists, it does not happen much in VA - we do have voter ID, as you know.

But it gets old reading ignorant Archie Bunker like rants because you are clueless as to why the democrat won.

Is there really anyone alive who actually expected otherwise? Conservatives expected it and voted accordingly. Liberals expected it and also voted accordingly. I challenge you to find a single Democrat anywhere in the Commonwealth who expresses even a hint of betrayal at what McAuliffe has done and will continue to do.

AMEN!

Those of us who end up paying for all this are the honest hard-working conservatives who constantly get betrayed by the Pubbies when the Dimocrats go after our wallets.

I can only speak from MY experience, I RAN a precinct in Providence District for several years in the early 1990s.

We had all-electronic voting, and I NEVER saw an election where we didn’t have results on the way to the County Board within 30 minutes of polls closing. . . .
