Emperor Palputin's Galatic Empire has begun! /sarcasm.

He and Darth Lavrov also apparently want to annex MIAMI - as well as Scotland, Catalonia, Alaska and VENICE, too!

Forget Venice --- Florence is sooooo much better in the spring.

In the end, this is what you get when you allow a majority Albanian vote in Kosovo while saying no to the territorial integrity of Serbia, and then trun around and advocate the opposite later.

Even if there were no Russian troops in Crimea, does anyone honestly think that a majority Russian vote would have been allowed in Crimea?

Just saying.

China seems more poised to take over America than Russia, at the moment.

All our factories are in China, and we are importing so much stuff made in China.

Not Russia.

China is currently running a huge trade surplus with America. $440 billion exported to America last year, vs $122 billion imported from America. And that surplus is growing every year.

China has 5 times America’s population.

Keep your eyes on the real problem.

But...but... Romney says the opposite!

And McCain was over there apparently satnding next to a leader of Svoboda - Oleh Tyahnybok - (Svoboda, which has been called a Neo-Nazi political org.)

And Svoboda was apparently also was given 1/4 of the interim gov’t cabinet positions.

Far as I’m concerned, Putin can have my little corner of this country. I’m quite sure he’d do a better job than the present chief executive.

I seriously would vote for Putin over Obama. He can’t possibly be any worse. And he would deal with muslims.

Listen, I’d be willing to give them Chicago and San Francisco . . . probably work out to our benefit.

You are aware that self proclaimed Russian mobs have seized Ukrainian government buildings in Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv and are demanding a Crimean style “vote” to unite with Russia. None of these three provinces are majority Russian. This seems more important than overheard sarcasm.

I don't think the Canucks would appreciate that.

What say you?

I think the longer range target is the US Petro Dollar, then US Dollars for all commodity trade.

I know a couple Russkie Families here in Alaska, they have become American citizens, bought homes, pursuing the American Dream; their kids speak English without a Russian accent; they are Americans as much as me or you. They don't want to even think about life like it was in Russia ever again; much better here.

Alaska Russia is like Dutch NYC, or Spanish Florida; humorous actually. Wait until Putin sees another Reagen elected; Putin won't know what to do or where to run. Alaska is a state, has been since 1959; Russia could not afford to project itself or start hostile actions on a scale other than with one of their former republics, bottom line.

Russians come to America for a better life, and thats the only reason.

Nothing lasts forever, and it's naive for the US to think it would always be the case...they'd better be ready to adapt to the new reality.

If Russia were to annex New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts, the people living there wouldn't even know the difference after it happened.
