Activists plan protest for Hillary Clinton visit

SAN DIEGO – Hillary Clinton cancelled her upcoming visit to San Diego in the midst of a planned protest.

Clinton will be the keynote speaker for the 17th Annual Western Healthcare Leadership Academy on April 11. She was originally going to deliver the speech in person, but will now be seen by satellite.

Thillary-clinton-healthhe three day event will be being held at the San Diego Convention Center with 700 people expected to attend.

Jan Iverson created an organization called “The Difference Matters” to protest Mrs. Clinton’s quest for the presidency, because of her role in Benghazi.

“She is not welcome here in San Diego by so many of us. We don’t want her here,” said Iverson.

Pat Smith lost her son, Sean Smith, during an attack in Benghazi and plans to be at the center of the protest, Iverson said.

“Working with her is gratifying, and it spurs on what we are doing,” Iverson said.

Dr. Ted Mazer believes people should put politics aside, because Clinton is well versed on the hottest topic at the conference.

“The protest has nothing to do with us,” said Dr. Mazer. “We are trying to talk about where we are and where we are going in medicine. Who is better to talk about that than someone with a history of about 20 years or more now dealing with health care reform.”

Mazer also said the participation is exceptional for this year’s event.

She doesn’t want anymore stains on her record before she makes a run for the 1/2 white house. No speeches on sensitive subjects equal no opportunities to F#$K up on the record. No protests to show up on campaign ads later on.

“Who is better to talk about that than someone with a history of about 20 years or more now dealing with health care reform.”

My God, if they can’t think of anyone “who is better” than this chick, then this organization is clueless right out of the gate.

It’s like the office of coroner. Shouldn’t doctor’s or other health professional hold this office? No it’s in most cases a “political” position.

Keep politics out of medicine. Aside for universal health coverage for the elderly and the very young, keep it in the private sector.

Benghazi ping, the first one as I catch up after being away without internet over the weekend.

Let me know if you want on or off this ping list.

I’d like to know where to find her travel schedule. Under 200 miles and I would be there!

I wonder how much they are paying her to buy influence and access. This might be the first time we have a pre-payed President. She and Bubba will be billionaires in the WH.

I wonder where Dr Ted Mazer was when Billy was president. He put thrillary in charge of the healthcare bill? She had that program so flawed with meetings that never took place,
meetings where there were no directions to, she and her
committee would decide what kind of doctors were needed, where they’d work and how many, even which university they would attend. The list goes on, but at the moment I cannot
recall them.

I think you are right, they will be billionaires!

I wonder if the only way to beat her is with another woman as candidate. At least it would split the womens’ vote. Maybe?

100 to 150 could work for me with as much notice as I could get to try to swing vacation time.

Anyone serious about healthcare, or any other issue, would be more than willing to brave protesters in order to speak at a forum where they can get their message across. In fact, they would not mind addressing the protesters themselves to defend their views.

But Hillary is not serious about anything but her own political ambitions. However, if all it takes is a dedicated group of anti-Hillary activists to threaten to show up at every planned Hillary event, what are Hillary’s political ambitions worth?

You are right 3 hour drive and 2-3 hour freep and 3 hours home is long enough for a day trip. I might have to travel with a dog if longer than 8 hours away.

I have not heard how to gain her schedule, have you any ideas?
