KIEV, Ukraine The Ukrainian government dispatched its highest-level police and security officials to the eastern part of the country Monday in an effort to put down separatist violence described as inspired by Russia and following a script that played out in Crimea.
The plan is to destabilize the situation, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk told an emergency cabinet meeting Monday morning. The plan is for foreign troops to cross the border and seize the countrys territory, which we will not allow.
On Sunday, pro-Russian demonstrations in the eastern cities of Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk that had been orderly the last few weekends turned dangerous when crowds broke off and began to occupy government buildings in the three cities.
Yesterday, a second wave of the Russian Federations special operation against Ukraine started, acting President Oleksandr Turchynov told the nation Monday in a televised address. The goal is to . . . topple Ukrainian authorities, disrupt the elections and to tear our country apart. He charged that enemies of Ukraine are trying to repeat the Crimean scenario, but he vowed that they would not succeed and that an antiterrorist operation will take place against those who took up weapons.
Turchynov said those taking part in the violence were committing a serious crime, and he warned that we will act appropriately and decisively against the criminals.
In Donetsk, a group of people who broke into the regional administration building and spent the night there announced Monday that they were setting up a Donetsk People's Republic. They and others who occupied buildings in Kharkiv were demanding a Crimean-style referendum.
The situation in Kharkiv appeared particularly dangerous after pro-Ukrainians from Kiev reportedly headed to the city early Monday. Fights were breaking out on Kharkivs main square Monday, local reporters said.

Got news for ya...
Ukraine was ALREADY destabilized by years of rampant corruption, civil unrest, and economic malaise, and was fat for the taking, a ready-made situation for the OS NGO’s to exploit after the embarrassment to Obama from Syria.
Remember, Russia kicked out the Soros-financed NGO’s a year ago. This has been building for a while.
That’s why the Ukrainian protestors began protesting in the first place. Remember them, the ones that Yanukovych tortured and shot?
Majority Albanaian population in Kosovo left Serbia.
The 2008 declaration of Kosovo was instituted by the Kosovo Assembly by rhe majority Albanian population against the objections by the Serb minority.
It was the second such decleration, the first happening in 1990. It ended the territorial integrity of Serbia. And it has come back to bite Europe and the U.S. in the behind.
Facts. Learn some...
Gosh, that looks close to an excuse.
Ukraine can not resist Russia unless they get help from Nato or the USA. Will Obama put boots on the ground in Kiev? Will Germany or France? That’s the question. Look at the Big picture-—Putin wants eastern Ukraine to make a land bridge to his new territory of Crimea. Without outside help Ukraine has lost before the war starts. Now, trying to grab Western Ukraine would be a reach. Victory there would be hard, and in the end Russia could lose—But, I don’t think thats what Putin has in mind. He’s going to take the western quarter, where lots of Russians live—move more Russians in and make it part of the Russian Federation. They have mines and gas and oil—as well as population he needs. Watch for a terrible bloodly riot where many Russians are killed—then, and only then, will the T-90s roll.
Kosovan independence referendum, 1991An independence referendum was held in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija between 26 and 30 September 1991. The dissolved Provinical Assembly had declared the Republic of Kosova a sovereign and independent state on 22 September 1991. Over 99% of voters voted in favour of independence, with a turnout of 87%.[1] The referendum was boycotted by Serbs living in the region, who comprised around 10% of the population.[1]
After Muslim terrorists invade Serbia for years NATO moves in and drives most of the remaining Serbs out then they have a vote. Some referendum.
Serbias office for KiM: Obama, there was no Kosovo referendum
No, YOU are a hypocrite. And you engage in name-calling, because you want one way for one side and another way for another sideand have no way out of this hypocritical mess you are in.
YOU are the hypocrite, not me.
And YOU are making excuses for Europe.
Now, say that you want no excuses for Europe, the U.S. and Russia. Then say that you want the same standard for both sides.
To: Admin Moderator. Please do something about the personal attacks and the name calling from boy.
Really? LOL.
"There was one independence referendum in Kosovo in 1991. Its results were recognized by just one UN member, Albania."
To Admin Moderator:
This pro-Muslim poster here seems accusing me of being a Muslim, advocating narco-terrorist propaganda.
Was the 2008 Kosovo referendum a sham IMHO?
Yes.
Should Serbia have been split up? No.
There, now you can pull the foot out of your big mouth.
To: Admin Moderator. Please do something about this Muslim narco-terrorist propagandist.
An excuse for whom?
Why do you make excuses?
Toughen up.
He called you a hypocrite. You reported him to the Mod for that? Then you call him a hypocrite.
Ironically, that’s kinda hypocritical.
Tp: Admin Moderator:
I posted the thread that was entitled “Can the Qur’an be trusted?”
It demolished the reliability of the Qur’an (Koran).
That is PROOF that I am not a Muslim or pro-Muslim. And I am not promoting narco terrorist propaganda., liar.
You, OTOH, have engaged in lies.
You're the one pushing it as a relevant fact.
No, I have a right to respond.
BTW, why are you saying something to me when boy started it?
You called me pro-Muslim. That makes you the lying sack of crap. lol
I pointed out your thin skinned response and the hypocrisy in your statement.
