Jeb Bush Will Bring Apocalypse If He Wins White House in 2016
Guardian Liberty Voice ^ | April 7, 2014 | Michael Cantrell

Posted on 04/07/2014 1:14:16 PM PDT by BarnacleCenturion

Jeb Bush, if he decides to run for president in 2016, and by some horrific nightmare, wins the White House, will bring about the apocalypse that will officially make America a footnote in history books that chronicle once great civilizations. This may sound a bit dramatic, but the truth of the matter is that the United States will not survive another Bush presidency.

Many conservatives will bristle, arch their backs, pop out the claws, and start hissing at the mention of such a statement, but the fact is the Bush family are not true liberty-minded folks, but rather big government Progressives wearing the disguise of freedom loving Republicans.

...

The truth of the matter is that the Progressive policies of George W. Bush and President Obama do not work. They have failed to provide economic stimulation and job growth, and they have failed to make the education system more efficient. These individuals and their policies have not protected civil liberties, but have sought new ways to circumvent the Constitution, treating the American people like common criminals.

It is time for something new, something like a return to the policies of the Founding Fathers who established this great nation. Men like Jeb Bush will not be a champion for freedom, but will call for more government interference, bringing down the apocalypse that will ravage and destroy what is left of the principles that made America great, which is why, if he should choose to run, his campaign should be opposed with zeal and vigor.

So if I read this correctly, the point of this article is that electing a progressive like Jeb Bush will be a disaster but electing a progressive like Hillary Clinton will be utopia. What a flaming pile of nonsensical manure.

No kidding. Reading an anti-Bush thread is no big deal. FR's main mission some days to to bash Bush.

But this....

This is off the charts STUPID!

I am not going to vote for Jeb Bush. I have had it with republicans who do not get it on illegal immigration and what it’s doing to the country, and what amnesty will do.

All this bs of fines and delays and crap, all that they will gladly negotiate away with democrats down the road. they will be afraid of libs labelling them mean, and they will cave. They know this. this is kabuki theater offering to conservatives that they know they will never have to do, they know dems will make issues of it and it will get them off the hook.

they are playing us. have been for years.

NO JEB BUSH. FUJB. “act of love” my american-born-and-raised ass.

The United States will also most likely not survive another [fill in the blank with the name of any democrat] presidency.

In fact, there is not much hope of the United States surviving another [fill in the blank with the name of any RINO] presidency either.

In fact, THE UNITED STATES, the wonderful country I was born in approximately a half-century ago, is pretty much already dead.

If Hilary runs, and she most likely will, Jeb won’t run. He’s not stupid; he knows if she runs, its her turn. He’ll either wait his turn, or retire to the Bush family plantation in South America.

So basically, if Hilary runs, the GOP establishment has to pull up a dummy to take the fall, some one like McCain or Romney.

No, it won’t. Millions of immigrants have flooded our shores and we thrived and prospered.

What will end this country is an economic collapse. Amnesty will factor into that, but not very much.

Jeb Bush, the guy who gave Hitlery the "Liberty medal" on the one year anniversary of the Benghazi terrorist attack. And to drive home the point, Hitlery made sure to retain a smug look throughout the ceremony as if to say "I can get away with anything".

There are many real conservatives who could be the Republican candidate. Jeb Bush is not one of them. That is the point the author makes.

Exactly. I don’t believe the nation will survive Obama if he actually stays in office for the full term. Things are getting exponentially worse with each passing month. Some are slow months, I admit, but look at the battles of WWII, some months nothing was happening and then, pow, big stuff happened. This is the same thing.

The Washington government would make a bloody example that would sicken a jihadist. There is no way that THE hub of gulf commerce and petroleum would be let out of the same hands as those which signed off on Ruby Ridge, Kosovo, Waco, Libya and Egypt.

Texans would be gunned down like Sioux at Wounded Knee if they tried to secede.

At the present time.

After 75 years of bashing Herbert Hoover the Democrats have finally found a replacement, the Bushes. Hoover did everything wrong in 1931-1932. Hoover raised taxes and tariffs. FDR came along and doubled down on Hoover’s failed policies, but FDR was a good bull*#@^er. George W. Bush started the auto company bailouts and bank bailouts and then 0bama came along and doubled down on Bush’s failures. I blame the Bushes for 0bama.

There is only a very bad outcome, and a perhaps less bad outcome, should Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, and Jeb Bush come to face-off in 2016.

Now, Jeb is a fine fellow, and much like Herbert Hoover, well able to provide cachet for various oversights into how some aspects of governance should be conducted. But he should not be trusted with the reins of decision in government, at least not in today’s venue, because he is of a mindset that on programs like Obamacare, he would want to “Mend it, not end it”. Some things are just basically beyond fixing.

Herself, of course, would just be an extension of the very worst of the Bill Clinton years combined with the very worst of the Current Regime. She would make BOTH Jimmy Carter and Barack Hussein Obama look good.

If there is anybody remaining who could write history by 2024 and after.

From the author " If the Republican Party is serious about winning the presidential election in 2016, they are going to have to admit that a same-sex marriage ban violates natural law, and that the government needs to get out of the bedroom."

From Rand Paul"I think that the Republican Party, in order to get bigger, will have to agree to disagree on social issues," Paul advised. "The Republican Party is not going to give up on having quite a few people who do believe in traditional marriage. But the Republican Party also has to find a place for young people and others who don’t want to be festooned by those issues."

“No, it won’t. Millions of immigrants have flooded our shores and we thrived and prospered.”

Well can you name one country in the world where we have had 11-20 million unskilled, uneducated people illegally immigrate here?

The correct answer is zero.

A “melting pot by its very nature is a diversified set of immigrants, not a significant enough number from any one country as to change our national identity.

This is a very different situation from our legal immigration system.

More from the article you quoted:

“If one carefully reads through the Constitution, it becomes apparent rather quickly that the ability to regulate marriage is not one of the powers granted to the federal government. Any power not specifically listed in the Constitution, is then left up to the states, so at the very least, same-sex marriage should be decided by the people of each individual state, not at the federal level.”

Didn’t he just describe Ted Cruz’s position, which by the way, is the same as Rand Paul’s?

I have that same question about Rand and abortion, there is no smoking gun yet, but I can’t help but feel that he might not really be so pro-life as he claims.

Rand grew up with politics and seeing his father try to woo conservatives and republicans, and like many libertarians here, he knows that he can’t be seen as weak on that issue and still expect to have a platform to promote the rest of the social liberal agenda of the libertarians to the conservatives that he wants to convert to social liberalism.

Politicians who aren’t truly social conservative, are always the weakest.
