Jeb Bush Will Bring Apocalypse If He Wins White House in 2016
Guardian Liberty Voice ^ | April 7, 2014 | Michael Cantrell

Posted on 04/07/2014 1:14:16 PM PDT by BarnacleCenturion

Jeb Bush, if he decides to run for president in 2016, and by some horrific nightmare, wins the White House, will bring about the apocalypse that will officially make America a footnote in history books that chronicle once great civilizations. This may sound a bit dramatic, but the truth of the matter is that the United States will not survive another Bush presidency.

Many conservatives will bristle, arch their backs, pop out the claws, and start hissing at the mention of such a statement, but the fact is the Bush family are not true liberty-minded folks, but rather big government Progressives wearing the disguise of freedom loving Republicans.

...

The truth of the matter is that the Progressive policies of George W. Bush and President Obama do not work. They have failed to provide economic stimulation and job growth, and they have failed to make the education system more efficient. These individuals and their policies have not protected civil liberties, but have sought new ways to circumvent the Constitution, treating the American people like common criminals.

It is time for something new, something like a return to the policies of the Founding Fathers who established this great nation. Men like Jeb Bush will not be a champion for freedom, but will call for more government interference, bringing down the apocalypse that will ravage and destroy what is left of the principles that made America great, which is why, if he should choose to run, his campaign should be opposed with zeal and vigor.

I wish Texas would secede rather than be drawn down the toilet with the rest of the country.

Bingo! It’s not hyperbole if it is true.

I think you might not have read correctly.

I’m pretty sure the author did not mention Hillary Clinton anywhere in his commentary.

I wish every state from Texas eastward, and south of Washington DC, would secede...

Jeb Bush, the guy who gave Hitlery the "Liberty medal" on the one year anniversary of the Benghazi terrorist attack. And to drive home the point, Hitlery made sure to retain a smug look throughout the ceremony as if to say "I can get away with anything".

"Everyone, everyone! Applaud for me!"

So if I read this correctly, the point of this article is that electing a progressive like Jeb Bush will be a disaster but electing a progressive like Hillary Clinton will be utopia. What a flaming pile of nonsensical manure.

The author is not presenting the false dichotomy that you are, and the people of the US should not fall for such drivel.

There are many real conservatives who could be the Republican candidate. Jeb Bush is not one of them. That is the point the author makes.

You’re assuming America makes it to 2016.

Exactly. I don’t believe the nation will survive Obama if he actually stays in office for the full term. Things are getting exponentially worse with each passing month. Some are slow months, I admit, but look at the battles of WWII, some months nothing was happening and then, pow, big stuff happened. This is the same thing.

You’re right, upon re-read, the article was a whack on any form of progressivism.

Apologies~!

*************

The Washington government would make a bloody example that would sicken a jihadist. There is no way that THE hub of gulf commerce and petroleum would be let out of the same hands as those which signed off on Ruby Ridge, Kosovo, Waco, Libya and Egypt.

Texans would be gunned down like Sioux at Wounded Knee if they tried to secede.

At the present time.

In fact, there is not much hope of the United States surviving another [fill in the blank with the name of any RINO] presidency either.

I bought my small farm in central KY (to which I moved from my 45 year home of Seattle in 2011) two weeks before the 2008 election as a possible bug-out place to live. And I expected McCain to win!

I still wonder why Obama and Hillary needed that guy dead. He was one of their. I suspect he was bragging and saying too much.

After 75 years of bashing Herbert Hoover the Democrats have finally found a replacement, the Bushes. Hoover did everything wrong in 1931-1932. Hoover raised taxes and tariffs. FDR came along and doubled down on Hoover’s failed policies, but FDR was a good bull*#@^er. George W. Bush started the auto company bailouts and bank bailouts and then 0bama came along and doubled down on Bush’s failures. I blame the Bushes for 0bama.

Hardly. Most conservatives would argue that it doesn’t go far enough.

There is only a very bad outcome, and a perhaps less bad outcome, should Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, and Jeb Bush come to face-off in 2016.

Now, Jeb is a fine fellow, and much like Herbert Hoover, well able to provide cachet for various oversights into how some aspects of governance should be conducted. But he should not be trusted with the reins of decision in government, at least not in today’s venue, because he is of a mindset that on programs like Obamacare, he would want to “Mend it, not end it”. Some things are just basically beyond fixing.

Herself, of course, would just be an extension of the very worst of the Bill Clinton years combined with the very worst of the Current Regime. She would make BOTH Jimmy Carter and Barack Hussein Obama look good.

If there is anybody remaining who could write history by 2024 and after.

No mention of Hillary was ever made, so my guess is you didn't even read it.

In fact, the only other name offered up by the author was Rand Paul. Not sure I am behind Rand Paul anymore either.
