Ted Cruz on Jeb Bush: "Rule of law matters"
Politico ^ | April 8, 2014 | Lucy McCalmont

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz says illegal immigrants endure “heartbreaking” conditions, but wouldn’t agree with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush that they aren’t committing a felony. “We’re a nation of immigrants, we need to celebrate that, but at the same time, rule of law matters,” Cruz said Monday on CNN’s “The Lead.”

Regardless, Cruz is correct.

Did I appear to be contradicting Cruz?

Are you so dim that you didn't realize I was dissing Jeb?

When the second Bush first came out to run for President, he started out pledging to “reach across the aisle” to the Democrats. Well, he did; and he got his hand chewed off. Still is getting blamed for the stuff Obama, the perpetual vacationer, has done. If the Dems ever quit snarfing off those “hands reaching across the aisle”, then some day it might be safe to reach across. As it is, all the reaching goes in one direction.

A point that most Americans don’t know or understand. “Rule of Law matters”. That should be our new motto.

This whole “reach across the aisle” stuff is a bunch of idealist hooey, IMO. These people are our ENEMIES. And for some RINO to go talking about “reach across the aisle,” it translates to me as nothing more than a “reach around.” Effing traitors.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I held my nose and voted for McCain, held my nose not quite so tightly and voted for Romney. As someone who has always voted, especially in primaries, if Bush is the nominee I will not vote. I think that is what the ruling class wants, for conservative to sit these elections out. They don’t care which one wins, they are all the same - corrupt. I pray tea party challengers win big and if Boehner and McConnell can be kicked to the curb it will be a good day and a good skirmish.

Jeb showed Terri Schiavo a lot of love; now, didn’t he?

Jeb Bush is making a very clear bid to sew up the voter loyalty of the 11 to 30 Million Illegal Alien Invaders from Mexico who have been bleeding the USA dry since the disastrous Reagan Amnesty of 1986.

To compensate for Jeb’s bid for the Illegal Alien Invaders, Mrs. Bill Clinton will soon have to start making political speeches in Spanish.

As “both” political parties plunge into the race to the US financial bottom, my guess is that they will reach it - - - alone.

Wars have begun over a lot less of an illegal invasion of territory.

It is time, - - - for a change.

You are right, it makes me sick to hear people (always RINOs) talk about finding common ground and reaching across the aisle. Whatever happened to winning - to winning the argument - not compromising our principles and in many cases the constitution itself. The Republican party doesn’t have the stomach to try and win, and they cant stand the tea party winning.

B. Hussein Obama continues unimpeded as the arrogant Democrat leader of the Left Wing, Anti-Work Counterculture thanks to doormat Republicans such as Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, Issa, McConnell, and McCain.

Counterculture Democrats reap what they sow, and doormat Republicans gladly provide the fertilizer.

What can possibly go wrong?

Bush inadvertently revealed his thinking on the whole issue by not including those overstaying their visas in his 'act of love' rhetoric.

Apparently his heart is with Mexicans and central Americans, IMO because this is where his family's future in politics lie.

Actually there was I believe a big Bush investment somewhere in Central/South America a couple years ago.

Not sure of the details, but I’m not certain you are incorrect.

Bush seems to be in favor of globalism. Bigtime.

When the Second Bush campaigned he campaigned as a “compassionate conservative” thereby dissing and distancing himself from conservatives and putting himself out on RINO Island, an island of misfit pols.

If he hadn’t had the Bush connection, he’d have stayed on the ranch.

But he came in and pretended to be loved by everyone. He didn’t have the character to even carry conservatives, but he could have. Conservatives were hopeful and willing.

THey still don’t hate him as much as his friends, the liberals, do, but conservatives have had enough of namby pamby, with our culture and economy and health care oh and military all going into a dirty drain.

It’s not that conservatives are asking the establishment to give them a good candidate, it’s that conservatives will go further to despise the RINO candidacy even more than Mitt.

And they, unlike RINOs, do not apologize for their feelings.

They are done.
