A gay assistant head teacher has been forced to resign after Muslim parents complained that they did not want their children learning that it’s OK to be homosexual.The dispute at Birmingham’s Chilwell Croft Academy, which mainly involved Muslim parents, is the latest controversy surrounding a secular state school in the city.
Liam Nolan, the high- profile gay head teacher at Perry Beeches Academy in Birmingham, told the Sunday Times he had been ‘incredibly shocked that an assistant head teacher who was doing incredible work around relationship education had been intimidated by a small group of what are being seen as extremists in the city’.
He added: ‘The Muslim community is being allowed to influence government legislation around equality.’
In a statement, the school added: ‘A minority group of parents . . . objected to some of the resource books being used in literacy lessons with some of the oldest children in the school, which explored relationships in different families.
‘The . . . objections were primarily voiced by those whose own religion took an opposing stance to homosexuality.’
And which religion might that be? There’s just no way to know.
This is happening in the UK rather than the US, but it’s only a matter of time until with enough immigration from the Muslim world, we catch up to them. And then the left will have some tough choices to make.
I think this shows the liberals have trouble dealing with Islam. Islam does not have any liberal feelings towards homosexuals, yet we know that homosexuals are very high up on the liberal pyramid of grievance groups. This is a paradox which the liberals will have to deal with, as Islamic influence continues to grow.
This is in the UK, just so people know.
So... Islam trumps gay in the liberal mind?

Queers aren't happy to just be queer - they have to try and teach queerness.
That it's a Muslim or Christian family opposing makes little matter (other than if their objections are acted upon).
One wonders if yesterday’s supreme court decision regarding the wedding photographer would have followed the same course if the photog were muslim.
It would appear that this one trump card in the muslim agenda I could embrace if liberals don’t object to it.

Between militant faggies & militant muzzies, there really isn’t much to choose.
Both wish to dominate & silence those who disagree with them.
Islam is much more dangerous. They’ll cut off your head, gays will just scratch your eyes out.
THIS is where things will start to get interesting. The so called “tolerance” of the left, which includes embracing homosexuals and Muslims, will hit a wall when they discover that Muslims aren’t quite as tolerant as they had hoped.
So, when the queers and the Muslims start facing off, who gets tossed overboard? This is a moment when conservatives should grab the popcorn and pull up a seat.
There is a saying about payback.
The interesting thing is that homosexuality seems to be the only area that libs disagree with muslims.
That would require the assumption that they really care about those things - and that would be citing facts not in evidence.
Gays are far less likely to plant an IED along your commute route.

This shows the predictable flaw in the Lefts political use of demands for “tolerance” for various special interest groups.
Eventually two or more of those carefully cultivated and aggrieved groups will come into direct and irresolvable conflict with each other.
Then what?
In a Muzzies vs Gays deathmatch, the ultimate (and, I’ll add, quick) winner is pretty obvious.

Islam trumps homos everywhere, because homos generally aren’t going to riot in the streets and blow stuff up.
