In testimony before the House Judiciary Committee Tuesday, Eric Holder offered an alarming new doctrine for the Republic: laws are only suggestions, and the real authority to enforce or not enforce them lies in the hands of the president and his cabinet officers. (snip) There is a vast amount of discretion that a president has — and more specifically that an attorney general has,” Holder responded. “But that discretion has to be used in an appropriate way so that your acting consistent with the aims of the statute but at the same time making sure that you are acting in

The President and the Attorney General don't believe in the rule of law.
What a lovely situation.

Yes, true and just how unfortunate for us - the voting public that elected this group!

We shall see if this kind of rogue attitudes continue to exist in the next election. You would think that Americans would rebel against this total disregard for laws! You’d be surprised! Way too many look at other things other than such simple things as “rule of law” or the legislative branch decisions - after all, they are only voting for us.

Seems that we have lost so much in the last 5 or 6 years that it may never be regained! Laws continue to be for the little people only!

A continuation:

You know that the more that they make these laws, the more that almost all of us have broken some of these laws! We are 95% lawbreakers if taken literally! What does that tell you about our lawmaking system!

The little people will cease to have any respect for the law if the highest elected officials and appointed officers continue to openly act lawlessly. It is already having a strong affect IMO. But it will break down entirely if it continues.

I love my country. But we are doomed.

Obama, Biden, Reid, Pelosi, Clinton, Kerry, Holder,

well, you get the idea.

It’s time to take our country back. Start with the first paragraph of
The Declaration of Independence.

Yes, and said later, we vote but do we really care... We have become a bunch of party voters (although I have to say that Republicans are changing for the better sometimes), Democrats are lock-step in line with their leaders (at all costs)! That kind of blind devotion requires a major information campaign.

Doubt that it would change many minds but it is the only - most of the Democratic Party are so ingrained in their philosophy that it is impossible to change - take the black vote (95% liberal). You are not going to change that with Republican liberalism. They have their requirements from Government and that will NOT change! You are also NOT going to change the Chicano vote by admitting all those illegals as citizens! Don’t tell the Republicans though as they continue to think otherwise. Bush, and Rubio seem to be trying to support an agenda (trying to get elected!)

Eric the Red is lawless, as is Obama.
Neither feels constrained in exercising power.
It begs for impeachment.

We all know that both holder and odumbo are worthless, lying pieces of crap that belong in jail. My question is this. If NO charges are applied to Holder or doumbo during odumbo’s term as president, can both (or either) be charged after a new president is elected? Odumbo would no longer have the option of pardoning Holder.

Could they both be charged with lets hope for “treason” and both be HUNG! (or worse :) )

I claim a “vast amount of discretion” in obeying laws.

Holder’s view of his own “constitutional” power makes tyranny inevitable.
