Al Franken Issues Dire Warning Over Palin Endorsement Of GOP Rival?
Breitbart ^ | 8 Apr 2014 | MICHAEL PATRICK LEAHY

Senator Al Franken (D-MN) is having a bit of a freak out out over Sarah Palin's endorsement on Thursday of state senator Julianne Ortman, the leading candidate to win the Republican nomination for the United States Senate in Minnesota and challenge him in the November general election.

On Monday, Senator Franken sent out a dire email warning of Palin's influence on the election. He also could not resist attacking the Koch brothers as well. "Sarah Palin is now involved in the race — she just endorsed the Republican who, according to the Koch-affiliated poll, is only three points down," he wrote. "The Koch-backed attack group running ads against me just put out a new poll showing two of my Republican opponents within single digits — and, regardless of whether you trust their numbers, it's sure to egg on more right-wing attacks."

Palin has the establishment in an icy death-grip. It’s like watching a python digest a pig. Every once in a while you see a kick, but the pig knows that it is dead.

He got into the Senate via ballot box fraud, and to begin with was unfit for any elected office or any other position of power. His embrace of Obamacare is going to push his campaign into a live wood chipper, and he did that himself.

> He also could not resist attacking the Koch brothers as well.

That’s because he’s a demagogue, from the Demagogic Party.

Thanks mandaladon.

“There is a bear in the woods. For some people, the bear is easy to see. Others don’t see it at all. Some people say the bear is tame. Others say it’s vicious and dangerous. Since no one can really be sure who's right, isn’t it smart to be as strong as the bear? If there is a bear.”

Senator Al Franken

I'll never get used to hearing that. It's like "Senator Bozo the Clown."

Ok where is that fake picture of him in a diaper?

AFAIK, that there picture (posted earlier in this thread) is real. Taken during a SNL skit. Well, as "real" as SNL is "real".

Do you know if senators who loose elections are eligible for any “pension” benefits?

Yes any Senator who has been in office qualifies for a pension based on years of service.

A Senator with 5 years of service and is 62 qualifies for a pension which would be about $18,000 /yr which is not a huge number.

Sarah Is the greatest woman in the USA in our time. I have watched her like the hawk. She is selfless and a patriot. I saw her Dad. She carries his fierce patriotism. This country is in big trouble (we all know that). We must circle the Tea Party wagons and fight politically with NO DAMNED mercy. They fear us real bad.
