HOUSE GOP MODERATES: EARMARKS ARE AWESOME, OBAMACARE HERE TO STAY
Breitbart ^ | April 8, 2014 | by MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 04/08/2014 6:28:27 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

Two House GOP moderates—Reps. David Joyce (R-OH) and Mike Simpson (R-ID)—made comments this week that are sure to infuriate the House GOP conference. In an interview published on YouTube as part of a series called “Solon Speaks” in Solon, Ohio, hosted by Terry Dean, Joyce said Obamacare is the law of the land—and here to stay:

"The Affordable Care Act, like it or not, is the law of the land. The Supreme Court passed it. Now we’re struggling to implement what is the law of the land. In the last Congress, they put up 23 odd bills that tried to repeal it. It doesn’t get repealed. The Senate’s not going to pass it and the President’s not going to sign it. So it’s not going to be repealed. So when you deal with the premise that this is the law, and it’s the law of the land and we move forward, now we’re stuck with the implementation process and the implementation process is going to be where we’re going to have some of this falling-out because there are 23 some separate taxes that are involved here."

Later in the interview, Joyce further advocated for the implementation of Obamacare—in a different manner than the President has adopted.

"It breaks my heart to see all these small businessmen come to me and say that they’re spending $50,000 on consultants trying to come in compliance with something that the government is still writing the regulations on. It’s just wrong. We should have held off until we had the regulations and had exchanges in place and then implemented it in a way that everybody could understand it and then be able to make the decision on whether or not it was a good idea."

Joyce is a centrist Republican from Ohio...

This is why we need to dump the RINOs. Replace tehm with better Republicans or Constitutionalists or America’s Party or whomever will move the ball in our direction.

I’m sorry, there is no such thing as a “centrist”
republican, there are only RINOS and they should be
driven from the party.

Now there are “centrist” democrats, they are some
where between pure communists and socialist dupes.

Earmarks are a tool used to perpetuate the corrupt power of the incumbant political class. They need to be abolished.

This might sound like a side note to this thread, but it really isn’t. The next time the states amend the Constitution, the amendment should include a provision to outlaw political party support for elected federal government leaders.

Republican "centrists" are enabling the socialist's police state.

They are as big a threat as the progressives.

There are three parties. Socialists-which there are many, Liberals-which there are many, and conservatives-which there are few.
The former’s’ are in power and will never let power slip out of their hands.

Unless this changes, there is no way to solve the problem unless, the country splits apart.

Since when is Breitbart.com referring to RINOs as “moderates” and “centrists”? They are already dishonoring Andrew’s memory with a drift to socialism.

B. Hussein Obama continues unimpeded as the arrogant Democrat leader of the Left Wing, Anti-Work Counterculture thanks to doormat Republicans such as Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, Ryan, Issa, McConnell, and McCain.

Counterculture Democrats reap what they sow, and doormat Republicans gladly provide the fertilizer.

What can possibly go wrong?

Wolves in republican clothing. Why is it so unconceivable to believe that the Republican party is infiltrated by ‘Progressives’? The Left seized most other institutions in our society.

That’s the problem with entitlement programs. Just like negotiating with a union — “No takeaways”. Once they’ve got it, it’s gotta be fixed.

I vote for those who say, “Repeal it all! Every sentence, every paragraph, every illegal presidential change!.”

Yeah well...DOMA was "law of the land" too you know. There sure as Hell weren't any Democrat centrists out there to protest SCOTUS striking it down.

State constitutional amendments codifying traditional marriage were laws of the land too.

So sick of Republican pukes accepting the Left's narrative and fighting on their battlefield all the damn time.

And this:

“The Supreme Court passed it.”

What in the world? No they didn’t...

"I’m sorry, there is no such thing as a “centrist” republican, there are only RINOS and they should be driven from the party."

Rather than "centrist" the appropriate word is "traitorous."

Then just don`t vote for them in the general election. Vote third party or abstain in regards to that one election vote. Either that or quit b!tching about all the sell outs! My choice is made and I really don`t care what ANYONE says, just stating that for a fact.
